LOL!

Probably was round 3.

Miller > Van Berlo. Other planned trade that week was Van Berlo > Laird via Sadd DPP. :drunk::cry:

Newnes > Hibberd in round 4-5

Goodes > Hunt

Sadd > Smith (During round 12 bye)

Some absolute shockers there.

Too scared to look through my trade history as these are the ones I can remember off the top of my head.:rolleyes::drunk::cry::mad::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown:
You traded out Touk??? Touk was a rookie stud!

Brodie Smith in for Newnes about 3-4 weeks ago.. SIGH :drunk::mad:
OOOOUUUUUUUCCCCCHHHHHHHHH.

Regrets...I've had a few

View attachment 154937

So many wasted trades. :rainbow:

Misses
Cripps out R2. Scored a 50 round 1 then missed R2, understandable. Was close to doing this myself.
Newnes out R12 . To be fair a lot of people who had Newnes rince Round 1, myself included, would have thought long and hard about turfing him a month ago.
K.Simpson out
B.Smith in
Bont out then back in

Hits
Wallis making a quick 100k then > Rockliff
Dangerfield at $522k :)
Hodge at 520k :)

You've mostly pulled the right reins but the trade out/trade in players have been costly, makes the GAJ trade even more ballsier!

Trading in B Smith in Rd6 has cost me the most. I chose him over TMac who was the same price at the time. That one 50/50 decision (450 points which includes scores from my bench cover for the 2 weeks that Smith was injured) is the difference between my current 384 rank and a top 50 rank.

I've got a few myself.
- Wish I'd started Lonie over Lamb in R1
- Call me crazy but I'm starting to regret trading out Griffen, in hindsight I probably should have gotten rid of Cripps.
- Wines has been disappointing other than the Pies game.
- Don't start me on Dumont, should have gone for More than a Feeling Boston, bye or no bye

My misfires for the year include these hilarious debacles,
Miller > Van Berlo
2 weeks later Van Berlo out
Cripps > Rockliff
2 weeks later Rockliff out
Mumford > Jacobs, missing out on Goldy's hot streak.
Sloane in 3 weeks later Sloane out.
Glenn in round 6, say no more.
Now I'm considering trading Smith after I brought him in 4 weeks ago to Eski, seriously what wrong with me?:drunk:

Nothing wrong with your logic on most of those trades. It's just been one of those years.

You planned Miller -> NVB -> Laird in the same week?? :drunk:

No you misunderstood what I said.

I was tossing up whether I should go Miller > Van Berlo or Van Berlo > Laird via Sadd DPP.

Not that hard to understand I would have thought mate. :drunk:

Cause he looked like a dud and Van Berlo was going to go up $90,000 in price.

Obviously we all know what happened after that due to captain hindsight. :rainbow:

We all fell for Smith hoping he would come good.

You aren't alone.

I too am in this club about Smith > Eski. I think I'm not going to proceed. Going to wait to downgrade a rookie and grab the best performing defender to complete my team in a few weeks. Smith is killing me.

That's the dilemma I'm facing. After this week Smith > Eski will no longer be an option with the $$$ reserves I have left, with my 1 trade. So I could do that trade and hold on for dear life and hope for no injuries, or hope Smith finds a little form (I'd be extremely happy with only 75 from him every week!), or hope that someone else falls into the $360ish category come finals time.

I do have a tiny hope that Cokehoon gets to $350k and I upgrade him with Smith as bench cover. That'd work nice, but I don't see it happening.

Don't forget you will more than likely need a trade come finals time? I'd hold one up your sleeve for sure.

That's the realisation I have, yeah. IF coke gets to 350 it won't be for 3 or 4 weeks yet so that would be ideal for finals. Otherwise I just have to hold Smith until I either need to trade for the league win or 2 or 3 weeks left of the season.

Trading in Brodie Smith.

You and everyone else.

Did anyone else do it at top dollar though? (after Rd 3)

He cost me $524,900 and scored the following for me:
60, 45, 75, 16, DNP, DNP, 67, BYE, 68, 64, 69, 50 at an average of 46.72 (if you count the 2 games he missed as a "scoring opportunity").

Pure awesome. Luke McPharlin would've been a better trade in, money AND points-wise.

That is by far the worst 12 game return from a 525k trade in that I can recall playing SC. He's on my never again burnman list.

Yeap can't bring myself to do it, I will lose matches this week but I will have 2 trades and 150k to upgrade Steel and Smith in 2-3 weeks to Premos. Der...fenders are floating around that 450k mark so hoping 2 goods one land in my lap.
I have McGovern and Saad on the bench this week, its going to be a rocky one.
Should still make 8 out of 10 finals fingers crossed.

I must be misunderstanding it too. It looks to me like the first option has you trading van Berlo IN, and the second option has you trading him OUT. Do you mean MILLER>Laird via Saad's dpp?
