Just to clear something up, I have no inside word on whether Sippos will be resigned.
His last few weeks in the vfl since coming back from injury he has been quite good, and i wouldn't be surprised.

We could always trade him to carlton or essendon for a 3rd Round pick

Re Kruezer - if a team will pay $500k or above for a ruckman who has been so injured over the last 4 years then I will have just about seen everything. No way does Kruezer give Carlton a 1st round pick. No oppo team would be that stupid. It's too risky. The guy has hardly been out on the park....

500k would prolly give them an end of 1st round pick, which is pick 19. I think that's fair value for Kruze.

I think we are kidding ourselves if we think we will be top 4 by 2018. I think we need to be looking towards 2020 realistically.

I'm not gonna abuse you but I will say that's no chance of happening considering we recently re-signed him to a longterm deal.

The thing with Brisbane if they end up with pick 3 is that they may prefer to trade down to a pick like 6 so that they can take Weideman there, instead of "reaching" for him at 3. It could be a win-win for them to do a deal with us that sees the two clubs swapping their first rounders and Brisbane getting an additional pick from us that gives them the points required for the likes of Keays. If they walked out of the draft with say Weideman, Keays and Hipwood they would probably be extremely happy and at pick 3 we get the choice of those that remain once Schache and Weitering are off the board.

Yep agree with you on the top 4, Armo thing will never happen but agree we could do something like that to get a really early pick

With the new bidding system this year teams like GWS and Carlton will try to get as many 2nd, 3rd and 4th round picks as possible so they don't loose picks in the 2016 draft

That's what's great about opinions, we have both watched the same thing but came up with opposite conclusions.
My opinion is Sippa doesn't think quick enough and fumbles under pressure at AFL level.
I guess one of us will be proven wrong.

Carlscum will openly pay a third of cruizers salary for the next 3 years to trip him over the band 1 compo line get pick 2.

And mine is he has a sense of entitlement.

By that I mean he works his @rse off to get a contract but once he has it doesn't put the same effort in as he's already earned the spot.
Doesn't get a game at AFL because of lack of effort and then feels let down because he's not been picked yet again...
