At least we'll have the option to give Maca a rest if needed, given his hamstring history. It's going to be hard pulling APearce out of that backline.

True enough. At least we'll have the option to give Maca a rest if needed, given his hamstring history.
And certainly more comfortable to let Macca retire when he is ready. At least we'll have the option to give Maca a rest if needed, given his hamstring history.

Very true - but I suspect he may potentially get a second chance in the forward line at some point.
Not sure if we'll see him fwd given RTB's comments today. He wants AP mastering the backline.I very much hope they do this sooner rather than later !
It's a great option to try as it would be hard to drop him as his form has been great.
But you don't want to try it for the first time week 1 of the finals
Apeness was at training as well this morning .
Hopefully he's been smashing it in the gym. Look forward to seeing if he can develop into a KPF 'brute' . He has the size and body type, just hoping and wishing he ends up with a Hawkins type physique..

As long as he doesn't look like he's about to cry like Hawkins does every time it gets tough.Like the thought of this... will be even better if he has a bit more between the ears than Hawkins as well!
Phil the regular training watcher said the Zac Dawson in booked in to have the pins in his hand taken out on Monday .
So he won't be on the injury list for much longer .Silvagni is still 3 weeks away from full training according to phil as well.
Wasn't Silvagni doing full training at the last training session?
My understanding is that it took Hawkins quite a few years to develop. Ape could be considered to be tracking at a similar rate.Hopefully he's been smashing it in the gym. His wife had a fall a few weeks ago and he hasn't been able to go until recently.
All the boys were concerned for him and his wife and as soon as he came back they got around him and bought him up to date with how they are going .
He's very popular with the coaches and the players .
If Phil says 3 weeks before Silvagni is ready to go its 3 weeks .![]()
Sorry but Phil who?
