All preworkouts are toilet. Just throwing your money down a drain.

Yeah I just smash a strong coffee usually. Last one I bought was the ON Pre which was only about 30 bucks and I only used it sparingly.

If you have an excellent midfield group. As many teams have proven such as Geelong and Selwood few years ago, one superstar mid ain't going to win you a premiership.

Every team has a different profile with different strengths combining.

We also proved you don't really need a good full forward to win a premiership. So WCE should t draft forwards, right? We can't win one with a very good forward. Bulldogs have no forward line. Nor backline for that matter.

Sydney beat us even though we had a rolls Royce midfield but shit half back flankers and shit smaller forward types who can kick goals. They had that as strength.

So what is best for a 39 year old who hasn't been to the gym for 2 years and has a few extra kg's around the middle? No pre-workout at all? Protein powders worth it after?

I may get laughed off by some of the bros on here, but a double espresso and a banana pre-workout if you're fat burning. Caffiene wakes the metab up and banana is a good source of potassium which is absorbed quickly. Protein after.

Start slowly.

PWO are a waste (imo) a black coffee or a banana are good starts.

Supplements are exactly that, supplements.

Increase your protein intake, reduce sugar. Watch fatty carbs. Powder is good after a 45 as its convenient, but chicken, fish, turkey are very good sources.

KG's around the middle are the hardest to shake, its all diet.

Work hard, stick with it and the changes will come.
