Must mean alot if Ash Hansen is number 1

Was Kepler on the list i remember Bradley having a run their where he played they won and when he didnt his team would lose.

Im already on blues but richmond are going to be underdone or light on. Conca, Grigg, Deledio missing and concerns about Edwards.
Maybe for one season, being 2012. He had a 10-2 record that year - his team went 15-9.

Over his career, he only won 38% of the games he played in, and they were probably the games where he played less than 50% TOG.

Still - are people underestimating how rubbish we are?! Tempted to back Richmond at the line just before bounce down if it keeps coming in.
Tiges are doing their best to even it up with injuries, but just not sure who will hit the scoreboard for Carlton. Even in the nab they averaged only 8 or so goals.

Hawks without Lake, Hale, Shiels, Roughead

Geelong add Dangerfield and Henderson plus Menzel, Duncan.

Im starting to like Geelong im just worried they dont have players who can contain their small forwards.

Cant wait to watch Mitchell, Hodge and Lewis go against J.Selwood, Dangerfield and probably Caddy. Will be a hot inside contest

Hawks destroy WC in the GF and then round 1 they are paying $1.60 to beat Geelong who spent most of last year being mediocre? Hale and Lake were moved on as were Stevie J, Kelly and co. Hawks will miss Roughie no doubt.

Most of the hype is around the addition of Dangerfield, but I hear Selwood probably won't play so that's a wash in my eyes. Not sure why this game shouldn't follow the blueprint of a relatively easy Hawk win.

Im not underestimating your rubbishness at all. Really really hate the game. Blues +30.5 probably the play but FMD if there arent better games to bet on this week.

Would be interested in the Blues total score line (unders obv)

No Shiels or Suckling either. Suckling isnt much but its still best 22 depth missing

Firstly, Selwood will definitely play. He needed to get through a VFL practice game last week in order to have a shot, and he dominated.

Hawthorn are missing 5 best 22 players from their grand final win (Lake/Hale/Roughie/Shiels/Suckling), whereas Geelong have added 3 clear best 22 players, including a legitimate ruckman, and a top 5 player in the league. Geelong are also relatively healthy right now, much more so than they were at any point last season.

Don't get me wrong, I still think Hawthorn are elite and that there has been too much Geelong hype this pre-season, but there are plenty of reasons why people don't think it will "follow the blueprint of a relatively easy Hawk win." It's a no bet game for me, but I don't see a big margin either way.

Yes it looks like Selwood will play which is a big plus for the cats. Reading up on the Hawks preseason it might take a while for a new forward structure to gel with Roughie out. I'm not worried about the other losses as it's only natural for some hungry young players to replace aging veterans. However, Shiels being out will hurt as he would be the one to go to Danger when he gets 10 possessions and kicks a goal in the first quarter...

I'm looking at backing the Hawks, but will be using the Sportsbet, Crown, Tabtouch and Bet365 specials to mitigate risk.

Feel free to steal the idea though

You mean you never used to be like this? What happened to you? Did you change around the time you realised you had a slush fund? It was the slush fund wasnt it? It was about then you realised how much better you were?

I have only ever meant slush fund in the sense that it's money the wife doesn't see and thus holds no accountability, I still don't get why it has stuck

I dont think i was around when it was first mentioned but to me it would indicate that you have so much money that you can afford to be reckless with some of it. Ive provided the wife with everything she needs, she has plenty of cash in our joint accounts, this here is mine to do whatever the hell i want with. #bigshot
