2016 Draft discussion

Ah, draft day. The day we the collective fans of the AFL place all our hope for a better future on the shoulders of an untried skinny, pimply 18yo draftee.

Just under 2 hours until the count gets underway. Really intrigued to see how this draft pans out for us not just with picks 16, 21 and 22 but with our academy selections and whether we opt to recruit one or both of them or use a live selection later on in the draft.

Getting nervous. I hope we snag some gems

Fair enough I think we usually do each year which made me think of it. If we do I'd suggest not creating it until around 5 minutes before the actual draft so all live discussion goes in there and prevent fracturing discussion in the last 90 odd minutes leading up to it. Might just be easier to keep all discussion in here though. The benefits are if someone wants to read the live discussion of the draft on here later tonight, or tomorrow or the next day it is easy to find a thread dedicated to it as opposed to trawling through the pages in here and finding the point when the draft started.
