Id be very surprised if someone unexpected didn't fall to 27. With so many teams having multiple picks before us (GC, GWS, Bris etc) you see in those later picks they have (which will come before 27) some players whom those clubs like who may be realistically a 30s+ pick get selected. Quickest example I can remember is Doedee getting selected by Adelaide.

Biggest need is a good key position back. Our back lines still make me very nervous. Someone who can win contests, doesn't panic, good kick and has enough speed to run with the ball in hand. Don't want much do I.

Any players like this a chance to get to us? If not, keep the midfielders coming.

If we do draft a key defender chances are they will be 17-18-19 years old. For next season, it's possible they could look as much of a headless chook, far off the pace as what c moore and chol did at times.

A kpp drafted this draft will take some time proabley to be ready to add to the senior 22. It's a shame the like of elton was not given a block of games instead of the wide variety of duds that have worn the jumper under hardwicks reign.
