Will Hayward has gone from 25+ to 5-12 pick. Cedric Cox could be in the Crows' sights too....

Adelaide have supposedly put the most "work" into Begley. Whether that's for pick 15 or 49? who knows....

i thought Draft invites were only for top 10 picks?

18 guys have been invited, they normally have around 14-15 to make sure all the top 10 are there to be presented jumpers & stuff on stage. Clubs give the AFL 2-3 names to nominate that they want to have at the draft as they're considering that player at that pick to make sure he is there.

TigerImposter whos this Luke Ryan from coburg , they say in paper , best state league player in Australia , everyone bar gws and blooze have talked to him,,,,he any good ?
He basically was very good at TAC level then took time off playing EDFL bc of heavy work commitments . He then found love for the game again and ended up training at Essendon at the start of the year .
They didn't take him on as a replacement for the drug cheats so Coburg gave him a call.
Personally I wasn't much of a fan as he was a laconic style hbf who played outside with less run than Houli. His asset to Coburg was that he played tall and read the play well to take lots of intercept marks . I reckon his kicking under pressure was suspect and he did a lot of helicopter floaters. He had a great season , but in terms of taking the next step I'm uncertain and wouldn't take the risk with him . I hope I'm wrong with this one , but people are touting him to go around 20-30 which is ludicrous .
If I was to take a Coburg player it would be Robbie Fox as he modelled his game around Josh Kennedy of the Swans and could be a great get at pick 56 or higher. He's a jet.
