You don't replace a international draft pick running back with a pick 5.

You do if you deem the player to be best available at that particular selection.

Scrimshaw may start out across half back but the hope will surely be that he transitions into a midfield role.

Pretty sure Tim English was passed over in last years draft

If Harry McKay was 8 days younger.......

.......He would have been in 2016 draft class, spent it injured, been passed over this year, dominated 2017 as an over-ager and then be drafted as the negative 11th pick next year.
