Esava Ratugolea kicked 8 for Murray today. Athletic tall might come onto peoples radar if his form continues.

Stands at 194cm, 95kg and has some serious speed (2.921 over the 20M) and jumping ability.

VIC METRO co-captain Andrew McGrath has inspired his side to a come-from-behind three-point win over South Australia at AAMI Stadium on Sunday.

The 179cm half-back, who won the Australian under-17 400m hurdles title in 2014, displayed his elite running speed and accumulated 27 touches, six marks, six rebound 50s and three tackles.

Midfielder Dylan Clarke, the younger brother of North Melbourne draftee Ryan, showed why he is an integral member of Vic Metro's onball unit with 24 disposals, nine clearances, five tackles and a goal.

Hard-running midfielder Daniel Venables impressed with his overhead marking and skills at ground level, finishing with 16 touches, nine tackles and two goals, including one major in the tense final term.

With Vic Metro trailing by 35 points at the last break, forward Patrick Kerr sprung to life after being inaccurate in front of goal in the first three quarters (0.4), bagging four majors in the space of 10 minutes and ending with nine touches and eight marks.

Two of Kerr's final-quarter goals came tight on the boundary on the wrong side for a right-footer, while 193cm Jack Scrimshaw rounded out Vic Metro's leading ball-winners with 22 possessions.

For South Australia, 187cm left-footer Sam Walker worked tirelessly in defence once again and generated constant counter-attack across half-back with 21 touches and seven rebound 50s.

Running defender Alex Villis also made good decisions and was rarely beaten in one-on-one contests on his way to collecting 18 possessions, six inside 50s and four tackles.

In attack, 186cm Will Hayward kicked three goals for SA and read the flight of the ball well, while midfielder Jake Pitman had 29 disposals, four marks and booted a goal in a strong display.

Vic Metro stormed home with a six-goal-to-nil final quarter to claim the remarkable win.

The result leaves Vic Metro, South Australia and Western Australia all in contention to take out the NAB AFL Under-18 division one crown.

What's your thoughts on Romensky, Wizard?

What's your thoughts on Romensky, Wizard?

Probably a second round pick onwards. Big bodied medium defender, good kick generally, is very strong overhead and wins a lot of his 1v1's.

Reckon he stays as a defender but I'd like to see him get some midfield time at TAC level given his contested ability and size.

Assuming we miss out on Battle (Port or Richmond will snatch him I reckon) I'd love to see us trade in a second early pick to get both McGrath and Venables.
I think Battle has been overrated a fair bit, if he played for WA or SA he wouldn't get the hype that he is getting

McGrath and Venables should be gone before our picks. If one or the other wasn't we would be laughing.
I know you probably won't agree
But I'd like Todd Marshall at our first selection, the question would be if we think he could work around Boyd or Red path
Which I totally think he could

On another type of tall front keep an eye on English. I don't remember a junior level ruck with foot skills like him.

He's who I think will be gone, too many wanting a key forward before us.

I just feel as though GWS will pass on at least a couple of their academy players, which would help open up the draft a bit.

Players could also bolt into the first round & that would help to.

So out of interest, what is everyone's list of players that will definitely be gone by our first?

Mine would be:
Petrevski-Seton
Brodie
McCluggage
Marshall

With Battle and Ainsworth most likely gone too.

No chance:

McCluggage
McGrath
Ainsworth
Petrevski-Seton
Brodie

Big ???:

Marshall
Venables
Scrimshaw (if he stays fit)

Battle is being a bit overrated in my opinion.
