Who to look out for in next years draft?
The top prospects and the likes,
Post them here

Now that the 2015 draft is over does anyone want to speculate as to who the top prospects will be in 2016? The following article by Callum Twomey mentions several 2016 prospects but some promising WA prospects Sam Pepper-Powell and Jeremy Goddard are not named.

Jarrod Berry is a lock to go 1st round.
Jonty Schareberg likely 1st round.
Ezekiel Frank is a young indigenous 191cm forward with oodles of X factor.
Hugh McCluggage goes alright too.

jacob allison from the lions adacemy. tall mid fielder with a great long kick. has been some talk of him being a top 5 or so draft selection next season. lions already have a 3rd round selection in the bank as a part payment on him for next year.

Harrison macreadie is the academy player likely to be top 10 at this stage.

KPD so will suit our needs perfectly and we can well afford him as we have 3 first rounders and 2 second rounders for next year already.

Noah Hura, WA, Peel Thunder.
Had an inconsistent season not performing in the championships as an underaged player. His WAFL play towards the end of the year was exciting where he played Half Forward and through the middle. Genuine pace and loves to take the game on (sometimes too much)

Thanks Noah.

Not Noah, but would be happy to give you profiles on any other WA players who are draft chances for next year: Rotham, Pretevski seton, Powell Pepper, Di Placido, Wright, Goddard, Waterman, Goddard, Strnadica, levine, humble, clarke, fullgrabbe
from their colts year this year.
As a new user I thought id post somewhere of which I'm knowledgable about. But thanks anyway Mr. Commissioner

What are your thoughts on Powell Pepper?

Powerful player, went to Wesley which is a private school in perth late year 10. He dropped 10kgs in the 2014/15 offseason so he could improve his aerobic base and play through the midfield which shows commitment. Very competitive, and can play all areas of the ground. A very hard player to tackle as he has a solid stationary step and a great stiff arm (although he searches for the stiff arm too much). Only question marks are his kicking which has been improved on, and his clearance work for someone who will look to play midfield more in the championships this year[/QUOTE]

Thanks for that mate you seem to watch a lot of Colts footy. What's his dimensions, do you know?

Tell me more about Rotham - he's spoken of quite highly.

AFL academy member, he's around the 191-192 mark but is not a key position player. Best used as a half backer who can play on the third tall. Started developing his midfield game this year and sometimes played in the ruck due to West Perths poor tall department. Smooth mover with a good kicking motion and hits targets. fairly strong overhead and is disciplined with spoiling. Needs to gain weight but was not exposed by that as he reads the play well. Not many question marks, but lacks an over lining X factor.

Conor De Campo has looked extremely impressive in the times I have seen him at East Perth. Was one of their standouts this year and has a had a big impact for the state teams coming through the age ranks.

Jack Bowes and Brad Scheer from Suns academy look like first round prospects at this stage.

Cool, more first round rated academy players...cause there wasn't enough this year...
