Not having a go at anyone in particular, but about 50% of predictions have North melbourne missing the 8 in 2016.

After finishing top 4 the last two years, is it purely an age thing or do some posters really not rate our list?

Probably a combination of age and low number of wins in the H&A season. Really hard to predict exactly when an old team will fall off the cliff.

17. Brisbane
18. Carlton

  1. West Coast - good list demographic and gf experience
  2. Port Adelaide - expecting the portress again
  3. Hawthorn - hawthorn
  4. Richmond - 5th 2 years straight, surely they go up
  5. Sydney - stupidly talented team should be top but need new gameplan
  6. North - running out of time but they are experienced
  7. Gold Coast - gary ablett
  8. Adelaide - probably optimistic here but we can kick a score. fully fit sloane and crouch will do us wonders.
  9. Fremantle - depends if they can kick goals. second half of the year they
  10. Bulldogs - no idea but have a feeling they might have an sub par year.
  11. GWS - too much talent
  12. St. Kilda - they are coming
  13. Geelong - no enright they will leak goals
  14. Collingwood - crap coach holding them back
  15. Melbourne - still need a few years into their youth
  16. Carlton - dreadful list
  17. Brisbabe - abysmal everything
  18. Essendon - surely they wont have a team

1. Port Adelaide - Easier fixture on the back of a poor year
2. Hawthorn - I don't think they'll win a fourth flag but they will definitely be there
3. North Melbourne - A consistent first half of the season and we could potentially finish even higher
4. Fremantle - They should put in another big home and away performance
5. Richmond - Similar to last year, maybe ready to take the next step
6. Sydney - Lack of depth will be a problem again
7. West Coast - Will get a harder fixture and a lot more attention from opposition
8. Western Bulldogs - Could potentially finish higher, hard to say.

9. Adelaide - Definitely a finals contender. Maybe even top 4 if things go right.
10. Geelong - Also a contender.
11. Collingwood - Could easily be very wrong about the Pies. If they put together a whole season instead of just a half they could be top 4.
12. Gold Coast - Not sure they're ready to take the next step.
13. St. Kilda - Youth looks good but will still struggle to win games.
14. GWS - This is the selection I'm the least confident about. Could also make the finals.
15. Brisbane - This is where the dropoff happens, probably by about 4 games or more. They'll improve but not much.
16. Melbourne - Can't see them winning more than a handful of games with their outfit.
17. Carlton - Probably not much of an improvement on last year.
18. Essendon - Hard times ahead.

Everyone from 9th to 14th could be in the mix for a finals spot but there'll be a big dropoff after that. Obviously I overrate my own club, but everyone does. At our best we are a top four side, it's just a matter of consistently being at our best.

A lot here have the Crows finishing pretty low

You finished top 6 so will get a hard fixture, and also lose Dangerfield. That's my reasoning for putting the crows at 9th at least. Could easily still make the finals.

Should honestly really see someone about your obsession, so so bitter

Also nice to see you edited your post, the reason people rate the Hawks so highly is probably to do with the fact they have won the last three Grand Finals and are one of the greatest sides in history....

Thought he retired... he is 34!!!

On Brisbane, I think they have the talent to finish 12th but I don't rate Leppa or leadership group.
