What pick if any would Jaksch land in a trade now?
I see him as another player SOS might trade for a pick to stockpile picks

I really like the trade with GWS for Marchbank and swapping of 1st round picks which hopefully can get Prestia. Think about it. We gain Prestia and Marchbank for pick 4. Defense is set for the next decade. Weitering, Plowman Docherty and Marchbank pretty dam good nucleos.
Midfield of Cripps, Murphy, Gibbs , Curnow, Prestia isn't too shabby either.

I think stats don't show the whole picture. Vickery had played in a better side with Jack taking heat off him. Casboult has been starved while being triple teamed pretty much his whole career..

Worth considering with our list spots Vickery would substitute a pick in the 70s. Consider the available talent.

I'm not against considering it and for the first time in a while have faith in those in charge to do what's best. That may involve vickery, some gws fringe players or our current young forwards. I'm just hoping discussions about vickery aren't going to last all season

Pretty much every marking contest in our forward line or on the wing. We bomb it on his head and the opposition come running from everywhere.

Very interesting to see Bolts on Fox last night, said that he sees Weitering as a Ssssswingman eventually.
So, doens't see Weits as solely a defensive player.
And I think that is right, Kid is too talented to be left at FB and that's all she wrote.
But it does pose the Qn that we may need to find 2 more tall defenders.
Plowman isn't a tall tall.

If you're going to argue with yourself, at least be courteous enough to save us from reading through the complete and utter dribble.

Very little IMO.
He's more valuable to us to see if we can develop him for 2017. But next year will well and truly be his last chance.

Don't Gold Coast also have Melbournes 1st rounder in this years draft?

EDIT: So we could in effect trade pick 4 and Everitt for Prestia and pick 8 or 9ish? Which would allow them to do 4 and 5 (their own) for pick 1 potentially.

We can then turn 9 into Marchbank and 16ish, and then 16 and Touhy into Mitchell.

Our 1st, Everitt and Touhy becomes Mitchell, Prestia and Marchbank.

JGM is a good prospect.
Not sold on Foster. Wouldnt be surprised if he gets the chop.
And it is anyones guess on KJ. I have seen KJ lots of times this year in VFL and boy can he take a mark but seems to be on the outer doesnt he !

Yes agreed.
If a club offered a pick in the 30s (assuming a pick lower than it not realistic) you'd take it and run I reckon.
