Yeah but if you ignore those 8 he actually had the equal LOWEST of both teams. Case closed. He had 8 of them. Highest in the team

Too many of our guys seem naturally timid and nervous.
Sheppard, Gaff, .... you can't really imagine them ever standing up under huge pressure and doing something heroic. They all have this jittery deer-in-headlights vibe about them. Compare them to their counterparts at the really successful clubs, and you just lose confidence. You just knew Sheppard was never going to kick that goal.
You can add a few more to that list - Cripps, Le Cras, Masten, Hurn, Schofield, Jetta... like, they all have strengths and talent, and they're not squibs, but they don't seem to be the warrior that will stand up, really assert themselves, and you need those guys to win a flag.
Wellingham is a perfect example of what we need more of.
It was really noticeable in Gaff today. So many times he was almost walking and watching the play happen in front of him. Not sure if its because he runs so hard he has no energy left or what.Too many of our guys seem naturally timid and nervous.

Yeah that's the tldr version. In summary, we do not have players that are capable of being match winners when things get hard.
Yeah that's the tldr version.
It's not a talent thing either, it's all attitude/mindset
I mean you look at Jack Martin at GCS - lightest bloke in the competition, but you know he's going to be a match winner, and not through being a seagull.
Yeah definitely. Recruitment decisions have been poor (sponsors hat off, we really should have taken Blakely)I think it is a talent thing but only from a depth perspective. We need to have a far better rotation with more capable mids than we do now.
Lecras - weak as piss at the contest. Unless he gets the ball in space you might as well give up on him.
Butler - stick a fork in him.
Cripps - downhill skier. Nowhere to be found when we are up against it.
Sheppard - hate to say it, but been terrible this season. Woefully out of form and needs a spell in the WAFL.
Naitanui? Took a few grabs and did some better midfield work than the midfielders. Underrated when it comes to his contested handballs.Nobody could possibly have got a pass mark today.
The Gov perhaps, Duggans disposal was rubbish couldn't lay a tackle. Overran the ball multiple times.
Nup, he was pretty decent today. Had a crack.Add Masten to the list.
He dropped one chest mark in the middle.Drops easy marks, misses easy targets.
Darling staging for free's or over running the contest is really starting to shit me. When the going gets tough, Darling makes this over the top, piss weak attempts at marking then throws himself at an attempt to get a free. He really is a confidence player, and his form needs week on week management...

We had our excuses today and I`m willing to just forgive and forget that we played today ,Still pissed we lost but I`m ok with it.
Yeah, I've calmed down. Need to just start enjoying the football for what it is.
