Reckon people are over reacting a bit to Gold Coast's loss in China, they are a bit of value this round. There's value in the Freo line too.

Anyone know much about how the weathers looking for Adelaide/Freo? Seen a couple of places saying a bit of rain, some saying not really. Any good weather websites to use?

2U Crows -7.5 2nd quarter @1.86

Crows rank #1 in second quarters, haven’t lost one and their For/Against percentage in them is a huge 248%. At home against Freo I think they should cover 7.5. Freo rank 17th and have only won two second quarters this year, their most recent two, but they were against Tigers (worst ranked 2nd quarter team) and Blues (pretty poor themselves ranked 12th) so I don’t really think it’s much of a sign they suddenly have 2nd quarter form now. Freo also have a league low F/A percentage of 61% in 2nd quarters.

can someone briefly summarise pointsbet for me?? So basically if you back a player for $5 stake to get over 30 disposals and he gets $32.. u win$10?? But if he gets 20 you lose $50?

Swans v Hawks

Same game multi

Nic Newman 25+
Josh Kennedy 30+

Yep from what I can gather that seems to be pretty much how it works, there could be some smaller details about it i'm not aware of, but that seems to be essentially how it works.

Yep pretty much it if you back more than 30 disposal market. Max win and max loss will be stated for confirmation when placing your bet so you can see the total risk/exposure...

Does anyone else think that Fremantle is being extremely overrated?

If it doesn't rain in adelaide i think they will get pumped by 10 goals +

Fremantle are not a good side. Middle of the road just like collingwood, melbourne, st kilda etc.

Adelaide will eat them alive.

Anyway initial thoughts;

Geelong -8.5 v Port

Just think that port will struggle at Kardinia Park. It's a skinny ground and port might struggle to find space to play their free flowing football.

Bulldogs v St Kilda +13.5

The bulldogs look really unsettled at the moment. Wouldn't be surprised if St Kilda pinch this one.

Adelaide -33.5 v Freo

If it doesn't rate crows will win by 10 goals.

West Coast -7.5 v GWS

Wouldn't be surprised if West Coast do what they typically do best and play really well at home after a poor performance in Melbourne.w

The Kangaroos opened @-10.5 currently -14.5. Sam Rowe is a blow for Carlton and i can see the North Tall's potentially reeking havoc.Expecting this line to keep moving out.

Agree. They were pretty beaten up in the Freo game. Murphy tweaked his groin too, so who knows if he'll play, or if he'll play sore.

This is out to -17.5 now. I jumped on at -9.5 during the North game where they played very well. I agree I think Rowe being out is going to hurt them and think either Brown or Waite will get off the chain. NM have been scoring very freely this year and I don't think that Carlton will be able to bottle it up enough to keep it tight at Etihad. Having a wet slog and returning from Perth won't help either.

Also chucking North into a couple of multi's and a BB on 40+.

Yea only 1/7 have covered the spread after returning from Perth

I'm all over the Eagles vs GWS and surprised by how low the line is. Every indicator I look at points to a comfortable Eagles win and potential for a blowout. GWS form has been poor of late and extremely flattered by 3 very narrow wins out of 4 where they were outplayed. Realistically they could have lost their last 4, with 3 of them at home (2 games against average teams like Collingwood and Richmond). Their injury list is massive and I expect Lobb and Stevie J to miss the trip to Perth.

The intensity and euphoria from 2 miracle come from behind wins means this isn't necessarily a must win game for them whereas WC are copping the "flat track bully" and "mummy boys" gibes from the media and I expect them to bounce back hard. I expect there is a chance that GWS "mail it in" this week.

GWS have never beaten WC and WC are near unbeatable at home so on the line -5.5, in a couple of multi's and several BB's on WC +24.5 and 40+.
