Club recruiters, not just one club, several clubs

Dow is right in the mix for the no 1 spot, still a lot of footy to be played.

I think that Dixon would have only played a maximum of 5 games for Kingston in the TSL after the U/18 Championships. I saw his last 2 games live, and have now watched video of two of his other TSL games . They were all impressive but you are correct, the last two games were his best. I should add here, that in my opinion the highlight reels from those 2 games, don't reflect Dixon's all round strengths. Co-ordinated, good skills, good on the ground and in the air and hard at it. I have watched Dixon for a while. He has always had plenty of ability but his game just continues to improve at a big rate.

He looked a little raw at the champs but you could see there was a big upside.
I know it's difficult for all players at the champs to play in rep teams but at least most of the other states get to train a bit more together than what the allies would of been able too.
Really appreciate your input it's great to get some information first hand from someone who has actually seen a player live.

Thanks! That makes more sense now. So the question is what would be their threshold in terms of rating the kids?

If they rate Rayner as 9/10 and Dow as 8.5 then they'll probably go for Dow but if they rate Dow as a 7.5 compared to Rayner's 9 will they still go for Dow?

Only time will tell but let's say for argument sake they pick Rayner, will GC prefer Dow over LDU or Cerra?

So you're saying threshold is 1 point difference? Any more than that and they take Rayner.

I think they would pick Dow as they picked Brodie last year who is more like LDU and they still have Lonergan. Dow has qualities that they don't have on their list.

Of course!!! The thought of actually having to go to the draft and develop our own stars scares the shit out of a lot of people. Maybe, just maybe, they might wake up and have to contemplate the stark reality that SOS will take Pick 3 to the draft. He was always going to take our first Pick to the draft.

Dandenong Stingrays players are allocated to Vic Country to even up the U18 Champs and ensure that as much of the best talent is on display at the Carnival.

I think they would pick Dow as they picked Brodie last year who is more like LDU and they still have Lonergan. Dow has qualities that they don't have on their list.

If they lose Ablett they'll need someone who is a consistent performer, can win plenty of the ball and distribute it properly as well being able to contribute in other areas when resting. No one in this draft does that better than Constable. His lack of speed isn't an issue....they've already got plenty of that.
