Yep - SoS has earnt our full trust. Hindsight is 20/20 but I’m completely relaxed knowing the best decision will be made by the club with the information to hand on the night.
Not that we’ll ever truely find out, but I would love to know how the discussion between Bolton and SOS goes prior to draft night: if SOS asks Bolton what he needs and then goes and gets it or if SOS says this is who I’ll be taking so make your plans around that.
Reckon he goes to the Saints.Brayshaw shouldn't last. Clean, courageous and classy.
If he's there, we'd have to grab him.
Surely.
Sos isn't pickingWhomever SOS picks.

He hasn't had two acls. He's done one acl and one re-graft because the first one didn't take properly.A guy that's had two acl injuries is too high a risk.
Couldn't have said it better myselfHe is fine, it wasnt attached properly. Got better as the year went on, as ive said if we dont get him at 10 or pass on him, whoever does pick him will have a beauty. Midfield version of nicnat
Higgins or Brayshaw would nice at #10.
I suspect he won't be there at 10 but I feel Coffield would be a great fit for us as he's highly regarded as a leader and would allow us positional flexibility.
Here's the thing, though; rewatch his footage, and instead of looking to see Cripps - which is an obvious comparison, as he hits blokes by hand without looking at them from inside a pack - look to see Sam Mitchell, if he was Cripps size.
His skills by foot put Pat to shame. I've wanted Constable above most of the other, more sexy possibilities, as while he appears no frills, his qualities are translatable to AFL level almost immediately, and he's completely unruffled by any kind of tackling pressure, which is where the game seems to be heading. He would go a significant distance into covering Gibbs absence in the short term, whilst allowing Pat to play forward. If we took someone with genuine pace at 3 - Cerra, perhaps - he'd be a great option.
Bonar is too much of a risk I feel, with those knees and all
Bonar has lots of upside
So do morabito and Alex Johnson
I have no idea but will be selling my vote to the highest bidder

Yes Coffield would be a good choice, however he plays similar to Bryne, Plowman and Williamson... he could also end up being a Kyle Langford type that I dont think is a priority for us at the moment.
Darcy Fogarty smells bust to me I hope we stay well clear of him. We need some toughness and speed in the midfield. Higgins would be perfect at 10
Crosspost from the List Man thread
Any chance we'd be interested in Sam Hayes at pick 10 if he gets there?

Go watch Bailey Williams.Drafting rule #1
Thou shall not draft a ruckman in the first round.
Out of all the positions on the ground the evidence suggests it’s no harder to find a good one at a rookie pick than a first rounder.
There’s a post that outlines it very well from another board.
I'm lost, Jimmae.Go watch Bailey Williams.![]()
Stringrays ruckman. Eligible next year.I'm lost, Jimmae.![]()
Agree id love Rayner at 3 as we dont have a player like him toby green like and either Higgins or Brayshaw at 10Higgins or Brayshaw would nice at #10.
