Interesting call. If we get Higgins then we couldn’t take Moore at 30, no point having 3 players at about 175cm (Fisher already there). So are we better to get a bigger body at 10, and take Moore at 30, or Higgins at 10 and maybe a Garner or Petrucelle at 30.
Of course it will likely work out nothing like that!

The best highlight out of those videos was Hunter Clarke's no-look sideways chip pass
Only slight question I have is on his kicking. Everything else looks good to me
Bonar does look like a kid who will benefit from a couple of pre seasons in the AFL system.
Looks a touch podgy and slow but may sharpen up with some work and better body shape.

Agree all around there.
Clark is best mates with LDU. If we nab Clark, I could see LDU nominating us for a trade down the track. If LDU slips to us, even better. Two guys with decent pace, can go forward and decent in the air.
You would think so, he tested incredibly well for a kid who has missed the best part of two seasons. Had a really good all star game too.

1. AHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAH
2. He played 6 TAC matches at the end of the season - 3 as a forward - and not at the Champs, starting from 6 weeks resuming from an ACL surgery; makes it tough to edit a highlights package. Despite that, you saw 5 goals and some great clearance play.

Relax mate not knocking Bonar. That chip by Clarke was the standout highlight of the videos.

Steak knives and a rookie pick isn't exactly over investing in small forwards. Surely Higgins is more comparable to Fisher anywayZorko kicks fine.

I certainly wouldn't be disappointed if CFC pick him up, just questioning priorities for needs. eg. IF we get Rayner, do we go for another FWD/mid?
People want us to draft a slow midget with pick 10?
My preference for pick 10 would be Stephenson/Bonar/D. Fogarty.

I went to school with Dante Exum for 3 or so years and he gave footy a go for little while and he was just exceptional, no doubt because he was physically on another level to his teammates. The speed and physical dominance of Bonar reminds me of Dante. Of course, Dante was very dicey when it came to the technical aspects, something which Bonar is better at.
You can just see with Bonar that once he enters the system he'll become HUGE, he has the frame.
Could literally become anything.
Dream scenario would be Cerra & Bonar.

Big if, but yeah if we got Rayner at 3 we'd be hoping a pure mid slides or we'd have to reach for Constable / one of the lower rated pure mids.
The issue with going that way is that most the players rated around 10 aren't mids. They're forwards (Fogarty, Bonar) or half back flankers (Clark, Coffield) who maybe can go on to become full time mids. In comparison Higgins has spent far more time in the midfield
