Disposal just hasn't improved, it's not Dylan Clarke or Cassy Parish bad, but he isn't 188cm or creative by hand or foot and very little penetration on his kicks.
Still he is a prolific ball getter and does have a nice burst out of the stoppage.

SPP's disposal was never that bad, and he didn't slide far.

Dylan Clarke's ball use wasn't horrific either. Mid 60's is par for an inside mid

Technique was poor, and resultantly his numbers have gone from below average to worse.
Just delisted three more so now possible we draft 5 and use picks #73 and #113? as well. Unless we have a few DFA's, Rookie draft, international rookies, rookies, etc. in mind...
Really interesting times...
I would probably disagree. Thought his kicking was terrible when he was placed under pressure as he kicked.
I’m interested to see how things unfold for him over next couple of years. As more is expected of him will his game be picked apart and his kicking become more of an issue? Wouldn’t be the first good player to find away around it.

He can just refine his technique and lower the point of the ball drop as needed.
Port have some great skills coaches and his issues involve just one aspect, rather than several.
Will Walker is the guy i want at #30.
According to SOS he wants to land mids and forwards this year. Walker is both. A fast, fit, goalkicking medium forward who already plays as a mid as well.
I've looked at Jackson Ross and Jordan Houlahan as well, but Walker is the better prospect i feel. A lot quicker and fitter. Walker at #30 is the Will Hayward that SOS wanted but missed out on last year.

Didn't Houlahan register just outside the top 10 for the yoyo test?
Houlahan slightly worse than Walker in the yoyo. Both around middle of the pack.
Walker significantly quicker in the sprint and significantly lower 2k time.

Has pace to burn. Would be a bold selection at 30 if he is still there.
I'd be happy with this selection, should be available at 30 if we are keen.

I wouldn't, his tank is awful and his dispoal by hand is patchy despite having a good read.
Crossley should be the first ruck to come off the board IMO. If we wind up in the 6-12 bracket for next year's draft, we should be looking at Bailey Williams; there's a ruck.

I don't mind Miers per se, but would like to see another year from Pickett, Fish, Polson and LeBois first before i used a highish pick on another small forward. I personally would be hoping for other than Miers with #30.
His bubblegum technique was also poor during the yoyo. Lots of early popping.
