So the list grows. So far it looks like we're keen on Coffield, Constable, Murphy, Fogarty, Brander, Allen and even Naughton. Can someone talk to me about Fogarty? I’ve just been told we’re scouting him pretty hard.
From what I’ve been told, he has a Patty Cripps ceiling? Bit slow though. Is that a fair summation?

Well said and I agree totally, I wouldn't be surprised if Dal pulls a smokey at 16 and picks someone from left field...Thanks for the discussion over the past 24 hours, gents. I now feel that there is real quality available at 9 & 16 (as there should be). I wouldn't rule out going for a tall at either pick (but not both) with Brander and Balta looking very impressive as I think we are short a good, tall, mobile KPF still. There could be a Stringer replacement available in Bonar or Fogarty. There are some excellent pick 9 mids/versatiles possibilities in Coffield, Stephenson, Cerra, Murphy (gotta say, looks like a bolter) or even Brayshaw, mids like Clark, O'Brien and Richards could be available at 16. There are promising forwards like Higgins and Houlahan too.
Let's put away the negativity, it is a smorgasbord when you have two high picks like we do.
Now watch us take BOTH Fogartys, just to see the heads of all the commentators explode. Will Zac Bailey last to 82? Because we do need to add to our Baileys...The Fogarty I was told we were keen on was Darcy. Are there two of them? That's super confusing. Maybe he got his wires crossed, but def said D. Fogarty.

I want to get Zac Bailey and someone called Morris something so we can have Zac Bailey Dale Morris somethingNow watch us take BOTH Fogartys, just to see the heads of all the commentators explode. Will Zac Bailey last to 82? Because we do need to add to our Baileys...
Lochie O'Brien at 16 would do it for me. Murphy at 9 - let's do the Bont with him.
I really hope you’re right. D. Fogarty would be amazeballs. The Fogarty I was told we were keen on was Darcy. Are there two of them? That's super confusing. Maybe he got his wires crossed, but def said D. Fogarty.
I think it's about his range....Is Houlahan too much of a reach at 16?
They are both good, Darcy Fogarty is seen as having more potential whereas Lachie Fogarty had a very good year . Darcy top 5 on potential, Lackie is more of a late first-mid second round pick.So which is the good Fogarty and which is the bad? Based on this boards opinion?
I'll second that. This is one of the better threads imo thanks to the handful of regular posters who obviously put in the time, know their footy, happy to share their knowledge and opinions, and leave the ego and personal stuff alone. Much appreciated. Thanks for the discussion over the past 24 hours, gents. I now feel that there is real quality available at 9 & 16 (as there should be). Keep that thought on ice.Now watch us take BOTH Fogartys, just to see the heads of all the commentators explode. Will Zac Bailey last to 82? Because we do need to add to our Baileys...
So what you are saying is our top two picks are a toss up betweenWhen you consider the pure leg speed in our team you think of
Johannisen, Dahlhaus and Jong funny enough all rookie picks
so maybe that is a big clue to this years likely selections with
picks 9 & 16, maybe. You could have picks 25, 35, 45, 55, 65
and even 75 in this draft and there is no way you could say
which number would produce the best player i think the mock
draft shows that.
Agree, they say it's not the best draft, but seems to me there is plenty of good talent available. Perhaps it's more even than usual, seems to me you could throw a blanket over about 12 players. We should get a couple, of good ones here, I'm trying not to get too biased in my hopes and focus on one or 2. That said of the ones most likely to be around at our pick I do like Coffield and Constable. Murphy is similar to them also. Zac Bailey is the one who stands out for breakaway speed. Thanks for the discussion over the past 24 hours, gents. I now feel that there is real quality available at 9 & 16 (as there should be).
