I have the 2013 elim final saved on my foxtel box at home and he watches the last quarter about twice a week. I will be in another room and all of sudden hear Dennis Commetti's call of Juddys goal or Jeffy streaming in to goal.

A feisty start to the season, plenty of exuberance and some exciting flashes and several youngsters to impress.
The season will bring a better prepared squad and more fluent understanding of the Bolton game plan.

I would like to see clubs confer before the the games, so that the teams playing are of similar strength and talent.
Example:
Game 1- made up of majority of rookies and new talent under 23 say 15-20 players and say 8-10 senior players
Game 2- made up of rookies and new 15-15 mix
Game 3- Best squad close to round 1

What I don't want to see is one team play kids and the other have a seasoned squad that smashes them, can't see that anyone wins out of those matches.

It's actually a pretty good idea but I doubt clubs would be willing somehow.
