Adelaide are going to ask for two first rounders got lever
If they get them Gibbs will be more accessible. If we can get a first and second pick for Gibbs all is good in the hood
Though pick 10 alone would be moist and juicy.
In fact, we may even try to trade into the first round next year if possible.Next years draft is quality don't think we will trade any futures.

Why do you think thatId happily take Rockliff as a free agent but something tells me if we grab him Daisy probably wont get offered a contract.

That's 38 players who could be best 22. Dare I say Dept................http://www.theaustralian.com.au/spo...n/news-story/fbbfebaa248b9aa148a87c242b8f9147
Unusual that this isn't behind the paywall. Looks like Crows still want Gibbs.

I'm willing to back the club if we decide to take a punt on Rockliff. He is a damn fine player. Questionable attitude etc, but if we can make it work, then all the better.
Why do you think that
They're two fairly different player types and it's not like Thomas is demanding any coin of significance

Gibbs has a heavily front ended contract with us so I doubt we would pay any of his contract. Deledio had been injury prone and Richmond were quite happy to move him on. Gibbs is very durable and has barely missed a game. Carlton does not want to lose Gibbs, he is one of our best players and is needed to help our young midfielders. We will not be trading him away for less than he is worth to us. Why should we?Similar to the Deledio trade, but Richmond will get a first and a third. But Richmond are paying a big chunk of Lid's salary. If we were to do 17 & 39, Carlton would have to contribute to Gibb's salary for the next 2 years. Looks like it has worked out well for Richmond and not GWS. Maybe a warning that we should walk away from this one.
hsrah tub riafI'm not seeing a downside here.
