We could certainly use a good small defender. Wouldnt be a bad addition.

That's just it. Duryea would probably be best 22, but hopefully Brisbane's recruiting has gone past "best 22" players. I'm sure there are plenty of 25-26 year old's that Brisbane could bring in to do a job, but is that going to get you to the pointy end of the season in 3-5 years?

Wouldn't be a surprise. Heard some rumblings earlier in the year he might explore his options but he re signed.

Were rumblings last trade period too. I still think he has something to offer us. I was pretty confident like many he would explode last year but it became quite apparent as early as the pre season that he wasnt considered best 22 or at the very least was being asked to work on something fairly specific. He also finished the year in the NEAFL and with the emergence of Witherden, Cox and Allison, the consistancy of Robertson and the likey addition of Hodge, a halfback/ hard running wingman role might be a bit harder to nail down. He might be keen on explorin other options. Hope not though as he is coming into his best years as a player.

The answers that Charlie Cameron gave in that interview yesterday were the most unconvincing I've seen. However I thought the questions were unnecessary given Charlie was trying to enjoy the parade.

Playing in a losing GF certainly helps our cause. There's no special bond to be broken to get a player to leave a losing GF side.

CC won't win a flag with Adelaide as Adelaide won't win a flag while Jenkins is a primary forward target. Glad he never came to us/decided against coming to us. Was gonna say he's a front runner but that would mean being in front, if he can't get the cheapies over the back he's useless.

He was pretty good in a team increasingly under siege yesterday.

surely has to be easier if you win. there would be a sense of completion and getting that personal achievement of being a premiership player. Even if you are still leaving a team that could have more success, at least you have tasted some.

Wondering if Adelaide might come hard at Rocky now, after the Grand Final loss. Its still around the contest where they need a boost. Would be handy If another club comes in and drives his price up yo net us pick 2 compo if he decides to leave.
That way a Dow and Stephenson or LDU and Stephenson combo would be awesome.
If we took the deal as mentioned above, I have heard the club is into Cerra a bit so he might make it to 6

I think it was a poster who teaches at the school Cerra goes to said that the kid was hoping to be picked up by Collingwood at 6. Sounds ominous imo.
