How much of a goal kicker is Cameron? Heard he gets a lot of 0 and 1 and 2 goals but never 3/4 etc.

Have you not seen him play? Blistering pace. Creates a lot of goals for Adelaide. Trying to think who would be quicker than him in the AFL?

Yep, creates many more than he kicks.

He's kicked 4 three times, and 3 three times (in 61 games). His game at Adelaide has been built more on defensive pressure and tackling, but keep in mind that (a) he's young (pretty much all of his key numbers have improved each year) and more importantly (b) he's playing in a forward line with Walker, Jenkins, Lynch and most significantly Betts, so goals get rationed around a bit. If he comes to Brisbane he steps in straight away as our main small forward (Christensen will rotate through the midfield), at the feet of young tall forwards who make plenty of contests but aren't yet clunking that many of them, so you'd expect more opportunities.

Has played 61 games for 76 goals and averaging 12 disposals and 3.7 tackles per game. Of note is that his disposals and tackles have been gradually tracking upwards, this year averages- disposals 14.5 tackles- 4.4.

It really is a perfect opportunity for us if it comes off. Queenslander, genuine quality with further untapped potential, comes from an elite club environment, addresses a serious deficit in our team and fits our age profile beautifully.

He also has an existing relationship with our footy manager and we will also have the trade currency to bring him in without significantly compromising our existing draft plans.

I'm really besotted with the idea.

But lets face it.
He plays in a forward line with Betts, Walker, Jenkins, McGovern. He doesnt need to kick them when he sets them up.

Would be fantastic, then we just need to pull of the coup of the century and pull Josh Kelly from under the noses of the Melbourne clubs.:) 900K per season and the keys to Springfield and an apartment off Oxford Street should get Josh over the line.

Would be happy with Hopper or Parish.

Ultimate win/win. Unless we dont land him.

Whitecross to come in for a year or two and progress to coaching role? Highly rated at the Hawks for off field stuff and just being a great professional bloke. Would give our backline some much needed experience. Cutler, Mayes, Witherden etc. would absolutely love to learn off him. If he wants to he could transition into coaching seamlessly IMO.

Cameron would be a perfect recruit for obvious reasons. Forward half pressure being extremely important in todays game.

Wouldn't say no to Trengrove from the Dees either. Would be extremely cheap with potential to be low risk-high reward type selection. A natural leader, great with setting standards etc. Have heard reports he has lost a lot of conditioning and speed though although that was last year after few years out of the game. Could have improved this year maybe with more continuity?

Cockatoo has re-signed with Geelong (two years), so there goes that hope

Don't mind really. I'm sure he'll be decent just injury prone and Geelong would probably still expect a bit for him.

I assume Cameron got or asked for #23 due to the fact that Andrew McLeod wore that number. May not have the same attachment to the number at another club.
23 goes to the best indigenous player at the crows. Previously was petrenko.

Never got caught up in that one. Underperformed and injury prone.

Poor man's Charlie Cameron :p
