I think he could play as a high half forward leadup role and then run back inside 50 hard. Similar to Bell earlier in the year. His ball use is excellent and he can link up in the running play.

He is so much more dangerous around goal than any other player (bar Zorko) that we have. I would be tempted to play him deeper and let McCluggage or Mayes play the high hf role

When we get him back fully fit, we will be a better side.

While I think Bundy has a lot of talent he didn't exactly set the world on fire so far for us. He will add an experienced smart player to our forward line but still question marks on him for mine. His defensive pressure was very poor under Leppa as well which is something Fagan will have to address.

He missed the preseason with a back injury and was playing catch up from there.

Fully fit he will be an asset.

Clearly I'm watching a different game to you . All I see is a bloke who if you watch the play when there is a defensive turn over runs at half pace . Yeah he occasionally goes in hard but also times where he shirks issue aswell. The fact that someone like rich is apparantly mentoring young players makes me laugh. What is he mentoring them about ? how to put up the white flag as soon as anyone says I'll tag you bloke can't run out of sight on a dark night . He is an average player who can kick the ball a long way his disposal certainly isn't anywhere of elite standard. He is being hidden at half back for the very fact that he has no impact in the middle when tagged . Plays his 6 brilliant games every season with about 16 where he has no impact or looks disinterested. And how people say it doesn't matter what he is getting paid in laughable. The fact that a salary cap is in play and with some like rich getting 600k means other get less . If I was Zorko I'd feel cheated of getting 100k less then that bloke . Bloke is a coaster and is just comfortable to cash his cheque each week

Not as strong in my opinions on Rich, although I am in broad agreement with you. Wouldn't hesitate to trade him if a half decent offer came and he was willing to go which is highly unlikely, he's on good coin and contracted to the end of 2021. IMO Rich-
1) Hits occasional elite kicks but overall his kicking is way over rated. We get swayed because they look so good off the boot.
2) Has been better this year but is still not anywhere near an indispensable/vital member of our side.
3) His kick ins are on the whole terrible, takes too long.
4) Not an instinctive footballer.

These days you need to be able to play instinctive footy. And it is the way the team is being encouraged to play.
In open space his kicking is elite. But when under pressure it is as bad as anyone's.

Was happy to see our name linked to him but I think the draw of the VFL will be too strong. We would have a fairly good selling point in our young list which is only going to get better and you would also imagine we would have some $$$ to get it done.

Does anyone else think that we might be a genuine chance for Parish? You would have expected him to re-sign by now I would have thought. Obviously still a lot of games left but with every week that goes by the chances of him leaving increases.

Don't know whether the game has gone past him, I just think as we have been such an average side for so long we will hold onto anything positive and Rich shows very occasional elite traits which we grab onto. Nothing personal just critiquing his footballing ability, apart from his first year or so he has been over rated.
