Cant hold A.Bonar now unless he is 1.Lions: "Hold my whiskey"
No one is going to care we paid overs for Charlie or got unders for Schache when the AFL gives us pick 2 as a priority pick.![]()
It got rejected very quietly. Lions Insider confirmed it on the question thread a day or two ago.Whatever did happen with that PP application we were lodging this year?
Sun's really need a PP before we do. However won't be surprised if we and sun's both get one. Long way to go though.Next year would be very handy. We'd have to somehow play worst than the Gold Coast.

hahahahahahahahahaWhy is that disgusting. We don't have list spots for all these picks. Need to shuffle them up the order.
Wallace just gave us an A-. I'm not freaking out like everyone else but that seems generous.
I don't get it. Why would we swap 43 & 44?Trolling Damian Barrett.
If I've got it right, in the last two years we've traded out Hanley, Rocky and Shache for Hodge, Cameron and pick 15. It doesn't look great on paper, but if we value character, you'd have to say it's a huge win. Just hope we keep following through with getting quality people to the club.
Mullett, on the other hand, may be worth a pre season if around.Woops missed the Gibson to the Crows bit.
And Bobby Henderson.Yes he is very similar to the GREAT Norm Brown #23
A small reminder to everyone - we made Schache Pick 2 by selecting him with our 2nd pick in 2015. Somehow, I don't think our due diligence regarding draftees was up to scratch if you looked at our footy dept, coaching, wellfare and leadership.
Stringer?I am sure his market value would have been just perfectly fine had he been playing for <insert Victorian/WA/SA club name here>. I do not think any other club, bar GC or GWS, would have made that trade at any stage, not here, nor in any alternate universe.
Noble said on SEN we might have a look at a delisted free agent
Richmond will probably need pick 17 to bid on Naish. A nice additional result of the pick swap with Richmond is that it means they likely won't be able to bid on Ballenden with pick 17.
Agree with that but also think our handling of him in Year 1 was horrendous both on and off field.
He was put on a pedestal as the saviour, was used in a lot of promotional material (including club membership cards from memory) which doesn't seem right for any draftee but especially not for one so introverted etc. and then on field we ran him into the ground in the first half of the season (from memory was most time on ground for the club at the bye last year).
