It wasn't a weak year. Richmond proved themselves to be a champion team and Dusty elevated himself to the best player in the comp. GWS, Adelaide and Geelong would have all been worthy premiership winners. You could argue that the teams 5-14 were weak, but I'd prefer to call them evenly matched, as 12 wins was still not enough for Melbourne to make the 8. The bottom four were pretty strong as far as bottom fours go, five wins wouldn't give you the spoon in most seasons.

Yes. 2018 was too. WC’s flag in 2018 was hard work

Nothing compares to the threepeat of course

🔥
How was 2018 better? Richmond followed up the worst year ever with the same team and supposedly lost the unlosable premiership. Therefore the other teams must have been worse.

Weird bump - this thread was an experiment in discerning the ridiculous lengths at which the vermin that plague this site would go to in order to discredit any other teams accomplishments. Was good for a laugh and at replenishing anyone’s low sodium levels. Even comp = harder to win a flag, shut it down Chief!

People are confusing the word "even" with the word "weak".

End of thread.
This could have legitimately been the perfect use of ‘End of thread’.
