Couple of good games today.

I'm not going to touch Coll. Got a big injury list and lost Treloar, Wells and Dunn in 3 weeks. Been beating up on weak teams of late and were a bit ordinary at times last 2 weeks although they were always going to win both games. Flogged Melb but that's up for debate whether that's a big scalp.

On the flipside Ess have been knocking over some massive scalps including winning 5 from 6 (only loss to Rich at the MCG). Beaten Giants, Lions and Eagles on the road plus Geel and NM (easily). +10.5 for a team in that sort of form the go for me.

Eagles are essentially missing their forward line (Kennedy, Lecras, Darling, Ryan) but so is GWS (Greene, Cameron, Delidio, Patton). Nic Nat is sore so that's a negative for the Eagles as well. I suspect that GWS will win the midfield battle here which would put them in a good spot to win. +10.5 seems attractive although there is probably a bit more incentive on the line for the Eagles at home having lost 3 and GWS having won 4 in a row.

Is unders the go for WC / GWS? Both teams have no recognised forwards? Checked last week though and both games for Ade and WC was relatively high scoring (179 and 166).

Nice work from Ziebell I have NM -37.5 and NM -41.5 and NM -35 + Ziebell 2 goals at $5. Kicked 1.2 passed off from 30m out and some other peanut missed a 15m pass to him 20m out. Couldn't make the distance after the siren for a point at least.

I didn't follow the tips this round but reckon I'll give it a crack next week... seems pretty shrewd imo.

Does anyone have somebody proven that they follow either on here or elsewhere?

Why wouldn't you work out who the "experts" are and follow their tips?

There are quite a few player models on twitter that give recommended results, but I personally think you need to factor into other aspects because player models are useless if the team doesn't rock up and have a crack.

@TheTrendBettor is very good and I follow most of his tips.

I tried to find @AFLmodel but nothing came up. Have you got the right handle I might have a look myself.

Was just happy he took a mark to ice some ****. Made sure both plays were covered. But wouldn't of been surprised at all if the Eagles scored a fast break goal to lose both.

Thanks - will follow @TheTrendBettor , just keen to track how they perform prior to tipping the chips in. I've followed @AFLmodel (correct handle) but as I say, while it's been bang on so far, it's a brand new account that I stumbled on in a match # and am not overly trusting of models (particularly amateur ones).

A mate was dynamite with his own total points model until this year... the game has changed and model didn't cope.
