WOW just WOW....that's quite a feat the Hawks losing by 56 points to a winless side after 9 rounds..

Bris just exploded today.

I can't help but wonder if the media has gone "too early " on the Hawks.....still a way to go for the season tho.

Headlines such as:

"Hawks heading back to finals after only one year out of them"

"Clarko...a genius...a magician"

"9 week rebuild"

"Is this the shortest rebuild in VFL/AFL history"

Yes early days but losing like that today on top of last weeks loss must be a big worry.

I wonder what time Clarko is having coffee with Gil tomorrow?

Well let's hope it all implodes for them, especially if we have made him the godfather offer that has been mooted.

Hawthorn have a tendency to give up when they're losing. This game was always a massive danger game for them and coming into the last quarter you knew Brisbane would kick away. Congrats to them, but I still think the order will be St Kilda, Gold Coast, Brisbane and Carlton by the end of the year (15th-18th).

Has already checked out. Planning the Saints 2019 season.

On the back of signing him we will get Sloane and DeGoey and he is bringing Isaac Smith with him.

Interesting. So suns are 1.5 games ahead of us already and still play, us at home, Carlton at home, Essendon at home and Lions at home.. are they going to lose all of those and us win another 2?

Yeah the Suns have had to play away from home for the first half a season. They should get a good run soon. We look the worst list in the AFL and injury has decimated us as well. Carlton look heaps better on paper.

Love the optimism but that’s bordering on delusional thinking Suns will finish below us

It was mooted on here.
Therefore: groundless rumour.

Hopes and dreams are just different types of reality. You people are too stuck in your "realistic world". Next year Josh Kelly and Fyfe are coming too and all it will cost us is Lonie and Dan McKenzie.

The only joy I'm getting from football today is seeing my Tigers mates excusing their shitness after losing to the Weegles. WTF are the WCE on now by the way, they were meant to be worse than us.

Don't get me wrong - I'm well aware of how god awful we are playing right now. I don't think it will last the whole season, it never does. We're not a great team by any stretch of the imagination but we're much better than we've shown, and are too good to not win more than only a couple of games for the year.

I like what Gold Coast are doing but they're already showing signs of fatigue and I think that will catch up to them and they'll fall away. I expect them to lose some games they would be expected to win now, and they'll likely pinch another couple of wins somewhere else.

there's a fair chance bolton will get the sack and the blues will dead cat bounce a few wins leaving us with lukosious. here's hopin. who did we give this years second for again? cos it's lookin like pick 19/20

That’s the danger of giving away the following years pick. Most didn’t care last year because they thought it would be around 30. Now it’s bloody reasonable pick we have lost

It looks more likely that we will struggle to field 22 players than get on a roll though.

I reckon if we’re not showing signs of fatigue yet, then wait another 2 games til after playing the reigning premiers coming off a bad loss, followed by our 2nd trip to Perth within 22 days, only then to be followed up by a hard physical game v Sydney

Then after all that, we travel to play the Suns up on the Gold Coast. Not ideal

I’ll be very surprised if we win any of these next 4 games before the bye.

At that point we’ll be 1-11-1 :o

Amazing the positive impact of getting Mitchell and Priddis out of the midfied and replacing it with runnners

Probably get to the the grand final after winning the minor premiership and go on to lose to Melbourne by 58 points.

That would cap off 2018 perfectly.
