Prediction for new jumper numbers: Gibbs? Gibson?

Who (if any) change?

My predictions:

Gibbs - 5 or 6

Gibson - 44

Matt Crouch - Moves to 23

Every year people pose the M. Crouch moving jumpers scenario however I hope he stays in #44 and makes it a iconic number at the AFC

Between Caven's job on Carey and Bock's AA/B & F year 44 has gone alright over the years!

And that's before we get on to the estimable contributions of Warhust, Wellman and Bown!

1 - Gibson*
5 - Pick 12
6 - Gibbs
10 - McGovern
23 - Milera
32 and later numbers - Later draft picks

*after Beech gets delisted, continuing the jumper's long, proud history of rejects and mediocre players
Shit call on number 1.. what if he plays in a premiership? Anyone who finishes top 6 in a best and fairest two years in a row is more than mediocre.

Can we just hold back on jumper changes for a while? Does every indigenous kid really need to be stereotyped into #23? If anything this has spelt then end of a players career since Bunji.

I really appreciate Matty Crouch staying in the 44, shows he is his own person, rather than following in the footsteps of those before him.

I'm not sure I want Milera to move to #23, I'm not yet convinced that we is going to have a sustained career

Great post

Gibbs - his Dad's Glenelg teammate Bones' #10
Poholke - 5
Gibson - 6
Milera - 23
Edwards - 37 like his dad started in (32 if Hunter is kept)

Assuming Hunter and Beech are delisted

1 - Gibson
5 - Poholke

Gibson fits into the reject category along with Podsiadly. Because he was delisted.
