well obviously I dont know the players, no. But the strategy of pick trading was appalling and yes, it seems someone with a few brain cells (i.e. not me) needs to help them out on that aspect after that display

dunno bout hind but super pumped with parker and young

definitely happy to take a punt on a livewire quick player late in the draft

I really like the Hind selection. Super quick & uses the ball very well. Wrapt that Bytel lasted that long... & Parker sounds like an exciting prospect.

Disappointed that Pickett wasn’t selected but I suppose he’s still a chance in the rookie draft (is it tonight?)

i would say they get the player they want at the pick they have 100% of the time ... as to if that pick turns out to be a good player is a differant thing all together but when it comes to what pick they need to get their guy yep they nail it every time ...

Yes. They guy from the zoo who delivered it was called Matthew Parker but it was put down as the Tigers name.
The dad thought it was funny so the name stuck

Pretty happy with how the Saints handled this draft with the hand they were dealt. Grabbed one of the most promising forwards in years with 4, grabbed a contested pig who slid to the third round, then grabbed three mature agers with speed and flare.

Guessing Marshal remains on the rookie list.

3 mature agers wow.

There isn't really much to complain about this draft. I was another advocate for a mid with 4 but King will hopefully be a good player and the other 4 look like good value picks. Bytel is a steal at 41 too imo, could've gone in the early second round.

long bow to draw that conclusion to what i wrote ... by all means comment away ... our club most certainly dont get everything right but to say we are stupid for a trade that none of us actually know the ins and out of the dealings behind closed doors is pretty foolish ...
end of the day i would say the club a very happy with what they got and im thinking we have ended up pretty much spot on with what we wanted at the start of the day .. squabbling over 4th round picks and critisising the club over them is a bit silly ... realistically at that stage of the draft the picks are worthless as the clubs generally have an idea of who they want and how they can get them ...
