I wouldn’t say that. As one pear poster puts it, they have lots of outside “sl#ts” . Bonner, Polec , Motlop , wingard. All quick, probably quicker than us .

An ideal game for Port is a stop start stoppage to stoppage game. Like they had against Sydney.

The funny thing is they were a quick spreading side before Bassett joined the coaches box.

The only way they will win this is if they revert back to a quick moving style of play on both offense and defence.

We at least have a few players to get back and current ones getting healthy. Port are at full strength apart from Ryder.

Will we still be able to keep in touch with the rest of the comp though when we look to be not likely to win many for another month and a half. Could be 6:4 by the time we get anywhere near full strength.
By that stage it will be too hard to push for top 4. Likely just scraping into the 8.
