Sheed to easily be #1 inside mid next year. Practically taken over priddis. Will only grow. 22 disposals tonight for 127. (maybe take 20~ points for 2 goals) and 100+ for 22 is still really good.

Weekend Wrap and "Liked, Learned, Hated" right here -- How did tipping go?

Imagine a full premo forward line next season:
Danger, Dusty, Bont, Buddy, Heeney, Greene.
That's 700+ points every round just from Forwards.

How's his recovery going?
DeGoey strikes me as one of those players that promisses a lot but never delivers, gets delisted/traded for little and then does really well elsewhere. Think its an attitude thing with him.Maynard tries hard but turns/butchers the ball far too much to be SC relevant.
Doubt Daicos plays senior footy this year. He's not AFL ready yet. Gotta build that cardio tank and work on his defensive skills. Kirby was another who I thought may get a game or two but Bucks has already squashed that in a recent presser saying he needs further development in the twos. Aside from the usual suspects maybe DeGoey is one who can take a step next year.
As optimistic as that may be, there's no way I see Danger getting forward status until he's like 31-32 and not playing full time mid anymore, he just averages way too much and I doubt Dusty and Bont get it also.Imagine a full premo forward line next season:

Gray and Fyfe are way ahead of Danger, Dusty and Bont for FWD status imo.U'd know better than me but in the games ive seen have seen Danger is spending alot more time up forward than Dusty has. His increased goal tally also suports this.
Bont has been playing up forward a fair bit too

Not sure about attitude, even though he was suspended for lying. Imo more so opportunity could go against him unless he becomes a competent forward half player. There's a heap of mids ahead of him in the order at the moment, he'll have to make it as a high half forward type for now.DeGoey strikes me as one of those players that promisses a lot but never delivers, gets delisted/traded for little and then does really well elsewhere. Yep I agree with this. Its much better with the dpps around as its much harder to get all these players in. This year the fwds are cheap and every team is the same. All teams have at least 5 def the same and more than half the midfields are the same.I agree that they've both played enough to warrant a DPP status too, but CD are campaigners and won't let them all be DPP can't see them letting the leading point scorer Dangerman get it. Nothing to do with his actual performances, just from them being scumbags and playing the "it's not fun" card.
Remember at the start of the year when some people thought it was a good thing that all the gun DPPs got axed (most of them were fair, but Zorko should of kept it FFS), turns out we all still pick the same 6 forwards, we just all end up with lower scores lol.
Agree that Dahl and Macrae will lose DPP.From the Doggies
Bailey Williams I feel will have a very big future running off HB. Whether he's ready next year is the thing, but the opportunity will be there for him once Moyd and Murph retire (Moyd surely retires this year).
If Caleb Daniel retains FWD status he could be worth a look
Surely Dahlhaus becomes a straight mid finally though and I'd imagine Macrae loses his DPP too (dunno why he got it in the first place).
With the way we play with the over handball use type of game, we won't have too many who are SC relevant probably except Bont and maybe Daniel if FWD.
Boyd is absolutely cookedAgree that Dahl and Macrae will lose DPP.
It's a real shame MBoyd didn't retire at the end of last season. He wouldn't have been stinking up my team all season if he had.
Certainly a "never again" for me if he does play on.
How you see Petracca next year?Agree that Dahl and Macrae will lose DPP.

It's sad about Boyd. It always is when good players play on too long and end on a bad note. How you see Petracca next year?
The Dees will be very fantasy football relevant next year I feel, but we'll be paying full price for a lot options from them.
Yeah it happensIt's sad about Boyd. It always is when good players play on too long and end on a bad note.
Yeah he could be another young Dangerfield typePetracca could be anything. He's almost impossible to tackle and he'll get more midfield time as he matures. I see him developing into a pacier version of JPK. He'll still be a fwd in SC next year and he'll certainly be in my starting team.
I had Gawn......I thought the Dees would be fantasy relevant this year and they have been to a large extent. I had Oliver and Petracca in my team up until round 1 and then took then both out because I was too wary of my supporter bias.

Thats what I mean about attitude. Gets by on talent, but if he worked really hard he would easily be best 22. If he is good enough and able to run through the mids he would get a shot. Not sure about attitude, even though he was suspended for lying. Yes Max going down was a big loss for the team and for SC.Yeah it happens
Enright and Bartel made the right call it seems down the highway, going out while still contributing, particularly Enright. Tuohy has done well to step into his shoes though.
Yeah he could be another young Dangerfield type
I had Gawn......
Worked out well captaining him in R3 when my VC spudded up
But yeah, Oliver was a little unexpected going nuts in his 2nd year, thought maybe a 90 average from him, but he'll likely average 3 figures easily, a great effort from him. Hibberd was on the preseason radar, but obviously got injured so had to look elsewhere.
You do have a few PODs at the moment, but we'll be expecting more next year.
Salem was looking DT relevant in the first 5-6 rounds, then dropped off.Yes Max going down was a big loss for the team and for SC.
POD wise for next year, the other one at Melbourne who's going to be a star is Salem. Just needs a SC friendly role to return massive scores. Of the rest Brayshaw could be very good if he can overcome his concussion issues and I have a sneaky suspicion Neal-Bullen might be one of those players who will go from handy to extremely good one day .... anyone's guess when though.
