Add to that long list Sicily, Witherden , Burton .... all upcoming youngsters , plenty to choose IMO versus the forwards

The strictly forwards, if the teams losing and the players are not kicking goals ..... you get awe full scores

I was red hot on Sicily, but now I'm unsure he'll always be down back and what he'll do to when he cops attention like he did against the Blues.
There's no chance I'm picking a 9 gamer at 450k+ in the hope that he's a keeper.
Sounds like Burton is gonna play every position under the sun at the moment, I'm not picking a player when I have no idea where they are gonna line up from week to week.

Gee .... the part of of not selecting a 9 gamer at Withers price, really had me thinking

But then a maginificent thought ( my only clear thought for the day ) ...... I selected a 2nd year player last year under similar circumstances ..... a bloke by the name of sweet piggy Oliver

Oliver had played more games, was significantly less, and was coming off an outrageous JLT showing before anyone was considering him.

The JLT cemented my opinion ..... but it was the last 4 games of 2016 that pricked my attention ...... as it has this year so far with Withers & Sicily

But the JLT is still the final acid test, even though it’s a Mickey Mouse comp

More ball for Withers.
Without Rocky the ball will go back more. Plus I reckon he gets a go in the midfield this year with Rocky gone.

Main decision in the latest fiddle was picking a mid-priced d4 or f4.

Perhaps just picking 4 hopeful keepers could make defence a bit simpler this year with less quality rookies.

Will change again for sure next week (Rioli and Ryan will remain C and VC though).

Too much risk for mine.
It would be a miracle if all of LMac, Hanley, Gunston, Curnow and Christensen all became premo's, or even adequate cash generators/stepping stones. Perhaps take 2 or 3 of those if you are really sold on them, but all five is asking for trouble IMO. Naitanui comes with his own type of risk too of course
