2018 Rate My Team (Post JLT)

Thoughts on starting danger (perma capt) but not dusty or titch. Thinking that by having m2 and m3 sub 600k then i can afford set and forget rucks and dusty and titch unlikely to increase so will be good upgrade targets.
Currently have fyfe, sloane, cripps and ? Conoglio

Titch has been in and out of my team. As per one of my previous posts, there's no value with him. He's a gun and a lock for top 6 mids but he's going to be pretty much that price, all year round.

Dusty however can hurt you with his massive ceiling.

Team is a bit all over the shop, get rid of lever Andrews and young out of the backline. Bring in some proven players. Rookies need to be changed, wouldn’t start Powell pepper. Get rid of buzza, Robbie grey is suspended for round 1 Motlops injured. Too many mid priced risks etc etc.

Not just that it also gives you 3 captain choice options danger dusty and fyfe

you need to fix your Rookies first!
then combine the cash in Schache, Powell-Pep, Buzza, and Young and get top scorers in with some rooks. those guys will just sit there and do nothing as far as cash generation for upgrades.
Gray will miss round 1 and you will lose points there..not how your meant to play SC!

The good thing is you have a heap of time to correct...

Do some reading of threads, i recommend you start with 2018 cheatsheet, then Team structure thread, then the rookies thread and then all other threads!!
If i see Buzza in your team again...I may turn

I will be taking a few low end mid Pricer's.
Bundy armo Byrne lycett.
I fully expect an injury or 2.
Worst case I dump lycett and the worst performer of that bunch for a rookie and a premo ruck. Will almost certainly happen IMO.

That could be why you'd start Titch. With dusty's standard deviation being greater, he could be easier to bring in later when he chucks in a 50-70 type score.

IMO this is always the case.
He won't be a premo.
Will always require extra cash for an upgrade.
He gets injured its just earlier.

Any chance Ceglar gets a game. Could use him as a sideways trade if he does. Or hope your R3 flukes a game the week Lycett falls over. Not ideal I know but it would be better than nothing.

I remember that one time i didnt have danger in my team, it was last year when he got suspended and do you know what he did when he came back from suspension? 141,146,163 danger is a god and if you dont have him in your team you disgust me.

I've gone into the JLT with my basic completed team, with 1-2 issues to resolve ......i will not make any changes until i've seen all the teams play 2 x JLT, so that i can make the right decisions

example: Dow plays well one game, so we put him in .....then the player replaced plays a ripper, and everyone gets confused with so many changes

Of course it's important to get your structures right though
