I should make outlandish jokes more often. That was as close as I got to predicting anything this whole trade period.

So i tuned in to AA to get the general consensus on the Crows, it appeared the average punter thought the Crows butchered trade and draft week.

I thought reading this board most people were pretty happy?

Consider the average punters knowledge on footy though. The fact that there were no local lads picked up means most average punters will instantly think it's a bust. They go off what the drongo reporters feed them, which is always filled with a lot of speculation and sensationalism to get ratings, and then when it doesn't play out that way they think it's a huge failure. Meh who cares. I'm happy with how it went down.

Most on the board are going to be happy regardless of what we do though.

Our biggest win will be waiting a year to cash in on the Carlton picks.

I'm happy to be critical of the club and there's a fair bit to be critical about. But talent ID is the one area that has earned our un-reserved trust. If these kids turn out to be busts then there'll be a revaluation. But right now it's insane to be second guessing Hamish's team.
