Hombsh, Burgess ahead of Broadbent.
Personally, I would much rather prefer Suns talking to McIntosh than Broadbent.

McIntosh isn't a key back tho, he plays wing/hb. Dropping Collins for him would leave Ballard and luko to play on key forwards which isn't good

You're right. For some reason I thought he's a key back. He's only 191cm. My bad.

At lease the Crows and bombers and greedy Bell have taken some heat off us this trade period. Media love to kick you when your down as we all know. Let's hope we can be competitive next year and stick it up the Vic mafia and there sheep. I would love the team to win some more games next year to reward the players. They deserve it.

Two very different players. Collins a lock in my 6 if fit. McIntosh is naturally a winger I believe.

Freo only gave up pick 23 for him in 2016 after Hill played a huge part in the hawks 3 premierships.
He’s given freo 3 very good years.

So why the hell would they now knock back pick 6 and a 2nd rounder.
That’s a very good offer imo

Hopefully B King looks around and thinks to himself I'm the main man here at the Suns. I got my mate Lukosius living with me. Now Rowelly and Ando are up here dapping me up with the Melbourne private school boy hand shakes and hitting me lace out. I'm single and meeting all the lovely ladies down at the beach in the middle of winter with my own place to host on my days off, while Max is at home still getting his toe nails cut by his mum, and if I go home to the Saints I've got to live in his shadow and maybe go play down back.

Maybe he's thinking life up here isn't so bad and if the Sun's are going to back up the armourguard truck and pay him some good coin let's see where this goes for another 2 years.

This. As Mr Bods keeps saying, one or two signing will define the club and change the tide. With the signatures comes stability and belief that they want to achieve something together. And make no mistake, if they stay together they will!

I wouldn't have a problem with the saints tabling 4x 1 million as if that's what it takes to get his signature then that's what it takes. Suns may have to do the same.

If the Hill trade doesn't eventuate then there you go. In 12 months Jack Steven, Bruce and Mcartin should all be gone and that is a whole lot of salary cap space right there.

Hill is one of their best players.. don’t forget he’s the one who wanted to go play for freo with his brother!

Guess he was in the team when we were winning.

Things I heard today:
B. Crouch - things went cold for a while, which is partly why the vic clubs became interested. But talks are open again. Suns not upping their offer on the picks and contract $$ and crows and crouch not budging on what they want. Still a decent chance to happen though as crouch wants out of Adelaide.
Lukosius - more likely to stay than go next year
B. King - more likely to go than stay next year. A strong/improvement year next year may persuade him to re-sign though.

I really hope Ben signs on. It would be massive for the club.

You can’t rely on Thompson he’s spent more time in rehab in 10 years than on the park
