Pretty happy with that. Brisbane at the G and Hawthorn at Marvel is bizarre, but overall I'm pretty happy with how we've gone there.

Two trips to Perth once again is no surprise, it's just annoying.

I am a bit at a loss as to why we have to play GWS, Collingwood, Sydney & North twice (all finished above us) , yet we don't play Saints, GC, Brisbane or to a lesser extent Carlton twice. Is this a fixture balance/money related driven thing?

I find it strange that we play back to back interstate games. Adelaide away, then GC away

Reckon we can beat Melbourne,Melbourne played us in round 6 when Essendon were rubbish

Excellent draw for us IMO especially compared to the year just gone. Ive seen us ranked as like the 6th or 7th hardest but heavily weighted on who you play twice. Wouldve preferred to have played Carlton twice instead of Collingwood but so be it.

We need to win one of these two games early. vs GWS Spotless (Round 1) or beat Melbourne @MCG (Round 3)

I think the run homes easier than the start. Round 15 onwards in a pretty nice run home. Only tough games are Adelaide in Adelaide and Collingwood in round 23 @MCG

According to champion data Essendon has the 5th hardest fixture yet Richmond who finished on top is ranked 13th how is that fair?

Based on recent seasons I would want the hardest because we have generally played better against the better sides, and been fully blown Essington against the low sides.

Hosting Hawthorn and Melbourne at the MCG has always been a farce. If the AFL want Essendon to be their main Docklands tenant, at least let the club maintain a home ground advantage against other Vic teams for their home games.
