Maybe of interest to some. Has looked at topliner and midpriced fwds.
Basically a ranking system, not so much looking into advanced analytics:

I disagree on westhoff no way is the pick of the bunch. Statiscally had a out of the box year due to ruck duties. Wont get that with Lycett and Ryder in the team. In for a Hibberd like drop IMO

Re Daniher, look at Essendon’s video from training today. Looks to be moving quite freely, and not sure if he will play in R1 but at least looks closer than some are suggesting

Agree 100%, think that’s where it falls down a bit, he doesn’t adjust for the year being a bit of an outlier for Westhoff, for example, it’s kind of presented statically.
But interesting to see some of the data nonetheless.

Last 10 years average over 90 only 4 times with only 1 of those times being 101. Durable as hell but 32 now. Heeney smith menegola telly gray dunkley all better options and cheaper

Last 10 years average over 90 only 4 times with only 1 of those times being 101. Durable as hell but 32 now. Heeney smith menegola telly gray dunkley all better options and cheaper

Westhoff will be better than all. He plays much younger and Is durable AF.

The dpp link with my r3 makes westy a dead set lock. Hope lots dont pick him

Haha in all seriousness I agree he’s a good pick but my F4 breakout contender is already Parfitt so don’t have any room for the Worpedo. Wouldn’t surprise me if he does well though!

I see a lot of love for Heeney, I know he's a gun, but even with Hanners leaving will he really move midfield?

Sydney lack firepower up forward massively, they looked inept in their final last year, and even with Buddy back he'll need some support.
What's got everyone so excited that he's going to increase?

Maybe I'm a little put out by his end to last year where he struggled and seemed to do some run-with roles.
Hopefully that goes to Hewett more.

Have I missed some news that he's "set to spend more time in midfield"?

Already scoring well, 5th season, more midfield minutes, uninterrupted pre-season and extremely talented = SP breakout season

Easing him back into training is not regarded as a preseason bruvs,
full preseasons are Super Coach gold if you jump on the right one.
Big Jo is classed in the breakout player for me and until I see a full preseason with full loading he's a no.

That's my concern. Surely he is due for a 100+ year.

Heeney is an auto-lock forward every year IMO - so consistent and durable

If it wasn't for his injury affected game and score of 18 Heendawgz would of averaged well over 100+ SC points.

Heeney was great last year. Can't look past him in the slightest this year.

Him, Danger and Dunkley should be in everybodys forward lines.
