To be fair, he didn't get THAT much mid time last year.
True, but that could be the difference for him this year.
...to go all out fwd premo or just another good year(in SC)
gun player!..but without some mid time i think i would leave him out of a SC team.

Cameron pretty non-committal and definitely sounds like they won't rush him. Knowing Punchable he'll come back round 2, score a bundle of tons and then be a total pain in the ass to try and bring in with a quick upgrade.

and then get suspended the minute you do.

Will JDG get as much mid time now Beams is back at Pieland?
his better games last year were when he got mid time..
too early to know i guess.
Probably too early to know for sure, but similar to last year I reckon.
Expect Sidebottom, Treloar to play more forward and Beams will spend time forward as well.
Adams will probably play more in the backline some games.
Reckon the 'Pies try to find a role outside of the middle for Pendles and Sier to play at times too - we'll probably experiment a bit, at least early in the season

Wingard upped his midfield minutes back half of the year.

Finished with 8 tonnes with a lowest score of 80 over the last 12 games.

You'd be crazy not to consider him.

But at Hawthorn will he be playing midfield minutes, or more replacing Rioli? Why did they recruit him?

Did Dunkley only dominate because the season was over?

Looking at his stats, picked up consistency at about rd 15 when the Dogs went into tank mode.

Don't want another spud who does **** all for the hard stuff and only delivers when the season is over :(

Dunks is average, poison, avoid

They recruited him for Rioli's role, but that was pre Mitchell injury

Nobody knows.
Well Clarko knows, give him a buzz.

Whatever was the plan for him had to have been altered slightly when Mitchell went down.

Not necessarily. It was assumed last year that de Goey would replace Treloar in midfield when he went down but actually Sier took a lot of that.

Titch is a different sort of player and I don’t see Wingard at all being a like for like replacement. Rioli hard to replace too but Wingard is more in that realm.

Can see Worpel and or Cousins trying to fill the Titch void.

consistency always been his problem..but when he goes large its large!
Shoulder clean out. Started preseason with the seniors bit before xmas but just running laps. No contact or ball drills.
