If the club was smart this would have been the perfect time to weed out the people who leak information by telling different people different coaches have got the job. If they had chosen but needed to get the review out of the way first then adding lots of noise about who it is would have added theatre to it too.
And destroy the culture even more?

Just a Twitter rumour so take it with a grain....Leadership and Culture - Nick Maxwell
Would be very happy with this, don't care what people think about him as a player, he's always spoken very highly about when discussing his time as captain at the Pies. Unfortunately, I can't see it happening though, what reason would he have to come here except bucketloads of cash?

Graham Cornes says Nicks.

I’d be happy too but wouldn’t trust the source at all.

Re: Maxwell - he holds the 'Leadership and Culture' position at the Pies, doesn't he?

It makes sense that we might be offering him a pretty penny to come here

Collingwood, the most "cultured" club in the history of the competition, shouldn't need a 'Leadership and Culture' position.

Maxwell would have the easiest job at Victoria Park.

Hawthorn who are the powerhouse of the competition shouldn't need a GM for people and culture position.

Yet they have it.

Smacks to me that good clubs will invest money, and staff to make sure people at the club are happy, and on the same page.

Correct. Adelaide have not been a good club, and priorities completely wrong.
Dunstall has pointed this out.

Don’t mistake culture within the club/playing group, which as we’ve found can change quickly for various reasons, with history and brand which I think is the culture your referring to

As long as it’s not head coach, don’t have an issue with that.

Note, for those who post in the non discussion thread, copying MRBs post in here took me 10 secs.

ITS NOT THAT ******* HARD

How I got inducted to the hall of shame was to click on someone else's cross quote, believing it was a quote from this thread, and responded with that assumption. It is actually easy to do if you're not careful.
