Yep, and that is good, but it doesn't actually matter that much, because he is a ruckman and you don't pay big for a ruckman.
Which one of these midfielders are we a chance of getting? When have we ever traded in a midfielder of that quality?
obviously not his fault, bloke worked his arse off, the only thing you would criticise is the lack of hurt factor with his disposals. But thing is a midfield can't be reliant on a dominant ruck.Pendles top 10 pick
Treloar traded for a top 10 pick and another first
Sidebottom pick 11
Has anyone ever said they weren’t worth a top 10 pick? And yet a ruckman stood up in their midfield when they didn’t and somehow it’s Grundy’s fault they didn’t win

A massive momentum shift caused by a touched goal that wasn't overturned. They all played very well and yet Collingwood lost by only 4 points, how did that happen?

Grundy would be nice. Lukosius on top would make 2020 look better
Metre gained to advantage, Or Assisted metre gained to advantage, NOt metre gained as that stat tell you nothing. Note Assisted metre gained to advantage also takes in Taps to advantage.Metres gained with a Ruckman?
Please tell me you're not serious?

Was that assisted metre gained aswell or just metre gained,156 metres.
I’m very good at not being a sheepYou aren't very good at critical thinking.
Lol Grundy was the entire reason they got a run on in the 4th
We wouldn’t do that deal, so it can’t be the realistic dealIf there is even a slight possibility of getting Grundy with our Pick 3 and steak knives and around the $900 - $999K this year I'm all for it.....but absolutely not if it's for anything like the $1.5M and 7 years being touted in the media.
Oh look! I ain’t no troll is this thread not for rumours? Just putting it out there what I heard in the radio! No inside knowledge didn’t claim I knew anyone that knew something!Oh look, the troll came back

“Collingwood lost, see you don’t need a ruckman”
And you'd be right, but Grundy had midfielders stars PLUS 70+ hit outs. Meanwhile, Pendles, Sidebottom and Treloar went missing for large parts of the game. Were it not for Grundy, Pies lose by 50.No, it just doesn't matter. Doesn't have much of an impact. Gun ruckman is nice to have, but you don't pay big for one. Pretty ******* simple concept.
Didn’t you say you don’t give up a high pick for a ruckman? So if I’m saying the opposite clearly I’m not being a sheepNot a sheep? That is some quality self deception you've got going on there.
“Excluding his ruckwork” now that’s funny.Excluding his ruck work, Grundy's season stats are very similar to players like David Mundy and Ed Curnow
Pretty good midfield numbers. Decent clearances. Low 20s disposals. Respectable tackles and marks. Not much scoreboard impact.
He's not a line breaking, damaging, elite disposal midfielder and that's why IMO he's not worth $800k a year or more
Shaun Rehn was pretty shit.Oh boy, think about all those premiership rucks, such high picks, so many big trades to get them in.
