Was reported he was willing to go back to the club if no decent trade could be found. It’s that far off track now I think the original point is lost. If people are happy with pick 48 that’s cool, I’m not. The salary dump point is a good one though.

Not sure if we were as keen. Personally I'd rather re-sign Bundy, Keays, Cutler, Skinner and even Lester.

I can see that. Coming right into the prime for a lot of key players. Addressed a lot of their weaknesses with those two picks. They were already top 8 as well this year.

Great that the club facilitated trades for both of these guys. Both trades are about the players. If they're both too good for NEAFL but don't quite make it into the Lions plans to play AFL, then they should be given the opportunity to extend their careers elsewhere.
