I can't see Hogan running. Is Harley there? Jesse Hogan?
Neither Hogan nor Harley ran in the time trial. Hogan ran a lap or two at a good trot and was over with the modified group. Both were there but I got there after the time trial so I don't know if they ran.
Glad to hear that he's back running. I'm hoping be's back in full training mid-late February and right to go round 1.Neither Hogan nor Harley ran in the time trial. Hogan ran a lap or two at a good trot and was over with the modified group.
Dixon, by quite the margin. Was really struggling to get across the line.Who was in last? My boy Jones?
Really surprised my buddy Colyer isn’t around the top 5. It seems Dixon hasn’t adjusted yet!Dixon, by quite the margin. Was really struggling to get across the line.
Quite the contrast from Giro, who blitzed the field and came home strong.
It could be that he's had the flu recently or maybe had a light sprain or muscle tightness across the break that prevented him running, but he was really struggling from a long way out.
We couldn't say that definitively, but if he'd fully recovered I don't see why they wouldn't have him run just to have a marker, if not for a fitness boost and some hardening. He wouldn’t be made to run if those two scenarios were the case.
Yep. There's something special about his attitude. I only saw two sessions before Christmas. Both times he was out practicing his one step kicking long after most had headed in. He's also put on a decent amount of muscle. Wont get pushed off the ball like he did a bit at afl level last year. Swita, Banfield, Hughes and Giro seem to be putting in wonderful preseasons. Im confident all four will significantly improve in 2019.Woooo go my buddy Giro!! Ripper kid.
That sounds like a big improvement from Sean, as it was posted on here he came last by a fair bit in the last run. Must have been working hard over the break. Cheers for info.Brad Hill, Logue, Bennell, Sandilands, Hogan, Ryan, Bewley and Walters didn’t run in the 2km trial, they did short sprints on the other side of the oval and then did some laps around the oval. I didn’t see Stephen Hill at all.
Darcy pretty much sprinted the beginning of the last lap of the 2km to pass 4 or 5 runners in about 50m. Mundy also ran well for him; he’s previously been a back marker.
There's a couple of clips a fan has posted on Instagram at what would probably be near the half way mark with the times being called out at 1:25 to 1:40 mark. (dockerjo1960 Instagram).
Probably the 500m mark.
If it was the halfway mark we're in for a bloody good year!
Switkowski is one that we probably weren't aware of as having a big engine. Was he injured this time last pre-season
