Put this to you, who had the better game?

Mundy 20 disposals , 2 goals, 222 metres gained, TOG (Time on ground) 78%, Contested Possession 6, Score involvements 5, inside 50s 3

J Cameron 18 disposals, 4 goals, 458 metres gained, TOG 94%, Contested Possession 7, Score Involvements 10, inside 50s 5

It was unusual for J Cameron to play up the field but I actually think it was a catalyst for the Giants win on Saturday.
He may get 1, I just thought half 47 of his 94 fantasy points / impact came late in last quarter when the game was cooked. Junked up good. He did not the scoreboard early with 2 snags but he slept through the 2nd and 3rd quarter.

Did Merrett get votes last night? Who gets votes?

An easy way to do your tally is to ask that question.

3 Shiel
2 Ryan
1 Merrett

Nicnat and McDonald T next. WC midfielders weren’t very good. Nicnat can definitely poll as stood out but will need umps to be happy with getting very low possession numbers.

West Coast did enough to win the game. No way was Essendon better.

I’d go

3. Ryan
2. Gaff
1. McGovern who marked everything in the backline or Naitanui who monstered Draper.

Most posters pretty spot on here I reckon re: WCvESS. You wonder how WC managed to win with Essendon mids so dominate but if you look at the bottom 6 players we get a pretty good idea why WC won. I’d have votes:

2.5 Shiel
2.5 Ryan
1 Merritt

BOG tight, Shiel a shade better but evened up by WC winning. Thought Merritt clear 3rd pick.

Rich vs Freo

3 Fyfe
2 Acres
1 Short

Keen to hear others thoughts. Was a close game all night and Rich only blew margin out late. Rich lacked good players and I thought Fyfe was the best player on the ground. Freo were actually right on top from mid q1 until 3/4T.

Did you agree with Fyfe 3 is what I am keen to know ? I am keen to hear how people rated his game.

fyfe was the best player on the ground even though looking at the stats alone you might not think he was. But he was really good last night

Keen to know your Crows vs Pies votes, you appear to have left it out. I think Adams will take the 3 because of the result, narrowly edging out 37 disposal Laird, and with Crisp getting the 1.

3. Pendlebury
2. Lyons
1. Neale

Thought Pendlebury was brilliant tonight, kept the Pies in the game and for me was the clear standout player on the ground. Neale was good but i didnt find his game was really impactful tonight.

3 crisp
2 Lyons
1 Pendles

Be close between Neale and Pendles but just feel Pendles did more
Neale played an ok game but wasn’t anything great, got a lot of cheap touches in the backline

3 pendles
Then Berry and Lyons
Then Noble
Then Neale

Neale might get 1 vote though given the context
