Yes, we already discussed this and I am not claiming your are incorrect as there is no official info but I did find 2 references including Boswell this week and both mention that SUNS had 10 rookies in 2020 (I assume the rookies means cat A). It appears that SUNS did have 40 players on the senior list in 2020. In your case, I presume they would say 8 (cat A) or 11 (cat A + cat B combined) rookies. I can imagine that AFL gave us 10 cat A concession + usual 3 cat B regardless of senior list spots (38-40).Normal list size is 38 list, 6 cat a rookies and 3 Cat B rookies. It is possible to have 40 list and 4 cat a max. Based on the max numbers our 10 rookies is in theory 8 hence the 51 listed players
FWIW, Kall Burns mentions on the Road to the Draft podcast Oct 23, 2019 that as part of assistance we can go in potentially with 50 listed players and will have 10 cat A and maxime them fully. Starting 11:45 min mark.
