And despite this we don't have NEAFL practice matches as early as the other AFL clubs in the NEAFL do.
Look at it this way.
They train with a team that finished equal first after the 2019 AFL H&A season.
Last Friday they were beaten by a mostly Lions A team in a 4 quarter hit out.
They then play Morningside and Gold Coast as mentioned by Mr Ripper.
Also they have a bye in round 1 so start the season one week later.
I think they will be okay come round one.

We will be but it's possibly a missed opportunity for those not playing seniors to push for selection and find form of there's nothing else organised. And its different from the other AFL clubs in the NEAFL.

I'm sure we've got something planned it'll be interesting to see what.

Surely they have listed the incorrect height for Tozer.

And is Wischnat the blond kid who has been training with the Lions?
I was wondering about that. I assumed he was taller

May be grown from 195 to 198 and mistyped as 188..

At the State draft combine he measured 195cm. Nice little growth spurt in 3 months.

Or they amputated a good portion of both shins to fix his shin splints problem.

I couldn't get down to the practice match today, anyone make it and notice any standouts?

According to Fish we only "edged" them - by 40 points ;)
It was an interesting headline.
To beat them by 40 and they only scored 29 points.
That’s a pretty healthy 238% win.

GC with only 12 listed players available for that game compared to our 20. Considering the extra numbers on their list that is just extraordinary. I am becoming more certain that a clubs injury prevention and management (with a little luck as well) is one of the biggest factors in success.
