Well that's me done for the draft American Doggie you're up
Pretty happy with my draft overall. Filled a couple of needs with a couple of good inside mids, a couple of pig like half backs and a decent small forward to add to some more diversity to my forwards.
Pick 1 - Matthew Rowell - You'd expect him to be a beast and anything less would be a failure. Hopefully one of it not my best building block going forward.
Pick 14 - Matt Schoenberg - While i missed out on the bigger name 1st rounders, Schoenberg, while not the sure thing Rowell is has, probably has as much upside as anyone in the draft if he pans out.
Pick 26 - Trent Bianco - Very happy with this pick, i feel like he has the potential to be one of those incredibly valuable high possession half-backs. Just hope he doesn't become a victim of Collingwoods depth. Perhaps to request a trade to Melbourne in 2 years.
Pic k 54 - Jaxon Prior - Like Bianco has the potential to be a really valuable high possession half back. Whether he can do the def side of the game well enough to get a game at Brisbane will be the question as he has no trouble finding the ball.
Pick 87 - Ned Cahill - Value this late, a do it all half forward who hits the scoreboard and hunts the ball and the man.
