What was that in regard to?

Everything.

I'm not even sure. A journo said something and he spouted with "ooh Adelaide get looked after" like he had a massive chip on his shoulder (maybe because of his small penis)

I was almost embarrassed for him. Imagine going through life always throwing blame elsewhere for your own failings.

Getting the first home game with crowds.
I did think it was odd Port didn’t get a home game that weekend given that Carlton and the Saints played on the same night. Has the AFL given any reasoning for this? Maybe because the Showdown was technically their home game?

I'd say that's absolutely it.

Do not underestimate the ability of Poort Pear to self destruct.

The players and all their supporters have already assumed that they will be in the Grand Final. Even the Norwood residing Pear Premier said last week that the Grand Final should be at Adelaide Oval because it was ”almost cetain that one of our teams will be playing” followed by a sneaky smile.

Sit back and enjoy the show!

I think Brisbane are more likely

Also, that Port guy who whinged during the week, Chris Davies? They're such whiners. "Öh Adelaide get looked after!". Dickhead.

All the povo, AFL life support clubs seem to be doing well. Port, Brisbane, GC, St Kilda.

Meanwhile the likes of Collingwood, Richmond and WCE all look like they'd rather wait until next year.

I’m starting to resign myself to the thought our younger brother is likely to win the flag in this their 150,000th year. It makes no difference it is a compromised season whatsoever as the record books will still show who won it.
Since the lockdown they've only played the 16th, 17th and 18th placed teams.

We'll see how they go against good opposition

You should show the Power more respect, I expect them to terrorise Neale today like they did last year at Adelaide Oval.

You'd think they'd learn that getting ahead of themselves usually ends in tears like it has the previous 8 times.

As soon as they win a few games the old port arrogance/whoa was me resurfaces.

The thought of a port premiership makes me feel physically ill. However, it might actually wake the afc up from their “we are the best in town” arrogance and comfort.

It'll wake the players and coaches up, can't say the same about the organisation as a whole. They've not really shown much bothers them.

I’m quietly confident that when it comes to the pointy end Kern is gonna Kern and they’ll fall short. Which will lead to 15 billion more years of them saying they would have won apart from coronavirus

Their first match in March was away to GC, no crowds i think, but you'd think they'd be used to that

he's talking about the showdown

they got 2000 in

they held up their scarves about not getting torn apart

there are no magpies

if it wasn't for the result of the game i would have loved it

Must admit, I am quite enjoying settling in to watch some footy at 8:30pm

First weekend post relocation to the Valley of the Sun
