Ewan an excellent chance to be the best rider in the points competition, not named "Peter Sagan".

Definitely possible. He's not going to be a factor in the GC, so his best bet is to lose time early and then go on some big raids when the Tour hits the mountain stages.

There's a Cat 1 mountain top finish on Stage 4 this year, and the mountain stages are more evenly spread out than normal, so it could start early

Roglic should be fully healed from his Dauphine crash. His form this year has been the standout GC rider. Jumbo Visma losing Kruiswick can be covered, their train has been far stronger than anybody else and they add George Bennett. Ineos on the other hand looks like a mish mash of riders chucked together at the last minute. Amador is a stage hunter, Carapaz is not a domestique and who knows if he is willing to do it, Sivakov is in great form and deserves his spot. When you look at what Van Aert and Tony Martin are capable of in terms of 5 and 10 minute power, there is a real chance TJV could split them on the flat roads as well as the mountains. It's a shame WVA won't be riding for green, he is the only one in the race that could give Sagan a contest.

I have NFI as usual so I will sit back, cheer good moves from anyone, get caught up in the "any good performance must be drug assisted" shenanigans, and try not to fall asleep five minutes from the finish, as I do every year.
